Comfortable retreat in an ideal location
Pros:

Such a beautiful place with spacious, bright rooms and big comfy beds with dark privacy curtains. Shared rooms are well set up with two showers/toilets, filtered water in rooms, fresh towels, and daily bed making. The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more for you, breakfast is amazing with lots of choice, and the pool/bar/restaurant are great! Location is ideal - just behind the main road with loads of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Daily activities are great and a good way to meet people. I actually ended up extending my stay by two more nights and it was such good value for money - I almost want to gatekeep this place!

Cons:

Building work noise and very loud nearby clubs (especially Friday nights) combined with single-glazed windows make it tough for light sleepers. Rooms lack small essentials like a reading light or shelf, and bathrooms could be improved - no hooks/shelves, leaking showers, and a slight stale water smell (bring flip flops). Activities are only announced each morning around 9am, making it hard to plan your week in advance.

Pros:

The vibe is amazing, and breakfast was delicious. I like that it has a bar and a big area to chill by the pool. They also provide surf lessons but it's a bit expensive. Location is amazing, walking distance to the beach.

Cons:

Bear in mind if you sleep early.. there is is a loud party every night nearby until 12 midnight. The toilet needs a bit more cleaning , and please change the shower heads it is old and rusty. The shower and pool is salt water. Also the food portion is quite small, i ordered a nasi goreng and was only given 1 stick of chicken satay.
