Our 2nd time staying here and it's a great choice! We love the location and the hotel interiors. The breakfast is no longer hosted in the hotel, but at a cafe across the street. You get a €7.50 voucher to redeem anytime during that day for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The amount is enough for a basic breakfast and a coffee. I quite like this option as it offers you more choice and flexibility without the excess food waste.
The hotel is extremely modern, well air-conditioned, great wifi, central & very soundproof.
The lights in the lobby downstairs toilet's weren't working.
Staff always had a smile and said hello. They are a wonderful asset to the hotel. The free hot drinks (including a beer), coffee machine in the room, slippers, hairdryer and excellent a/c was really appreciated. The shower was great and having shampoo, plus conditioner was a real bonus. The location was central to all the main sites. This is a hotel that tries to go the extra mile for a great price.
I booked a standard room. The window looked out onto an enclosed fire escape. I had read another review about this but didnt give it much thought when I booked. I had to keep the curtains shut all the time and with the awful blue painted walls and bright orange curtains...the room felt claustrophic and very uncomfortable. The photos on booking.com are of the ugrade rooms. The standard rooms are nothing like this and felt grubby.
The hotel was located in a good area around town, where it was easy to find. The room was also quite cozy and it was clean. The beds were soft and comfortable. For a short trip, I can recommend!
There was this odd smell in the main entry way. This really put us off and we couldn't enjoy the included breakfast. Also one pillow per person is manageable but maybe offer two. The bathrooms are quite visible. So if you are with colleagues and share a room, you can see pretty much a lot. The staff were okay- yet a little distant. And when the fire alarm went off in the night, we never got informed on what happened nor did we know it was really safe to come back inside and it felt all very brushed off.

No staff during night - fire alarm went on and nobody to help we have to call ourself police and fire brigate.
Ask for a follow on social media for a free beer. I decided not to follow neither have it.
No mini fridge
I asked for iron - they sent iron only and after 15 min the board after I ask the girl how I should iron.

The location was great and the staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was ok however many things were gone when we arrived at 10 (breakfast served till 11). The bed was ok as far as comfort goes.
THEY DOUBLE CHARGED FOR THE ROOM BECAUSE OF A BTS CONCERT IN BRUSSELS! I can't stress how scammy that is. The room normally costs half of what I paid (checked on Booking). The room was very small and in a rough shape (hanger detaching from the wall). We had a dirty towel in the pile we received. Overall would never expect to pay this much for such a low standard.
