Gern wieder. Empfehlung
Pros:

Lage perfekt, sehr gut mit Garage und Pool auf dem Dach

Cons:

Von der Badewanne im Zimmer gab es eine leichte Geruchsbelästigung aus dem Abfluss. Ist mir aufgefallen, da ich eine sehr empfindliche Nase habe. Mein Mann fühlte sich davon nicht gestört.

Der Service, das Frühstücksbuffet, die Dachterrasse, der Pool, der Blick auf die Stadt und ganz besonders das Restaurant UVA oben auf dem Dach, absolut empfehlenswert

Great location to explore the city. The staff were great and the rooms comfortable.

Cons:

Despite what their own website says, and what is written on booking.com, the spa facilities are not available (until at least May/June).

The rooms with adjoining doors are not soundproof. Ask if you can get a room without an adjoining door.

Smart hotel. However oversold on balcony when it simply was not.
Pros:

Good quality. Expensive but very good staff.

Cons:

Booked a room with a balcony. It wasn’t a balcony and not worth the price for what it was.

WOW a fantastic hotel definitely want to return!
Pros:

It was incredible SO glad we stayed here for the last 2 nights. The staff are so lovely & friendly. The top floor pool and jacuzzi and bar amazing with such a fantastic view of the city.
Bed lovely and comfortable. Great having car park included and a great breakfast with fizz as a treat.

Cons:

Only thing I’d say is to have more of an outside part for eating breakfast but I think they are altering it to do that that as breakfast outside would be lovely. Has a small relaxing area already near the reception & the beautiful top floor with a restaurant upstairs in the evening.

Perfect location in Funchal to explore the island and breakfasts are divine!

Amazing location - great vibe - and wonderful/helpful staff who helped arrange hikes in Madero
