I loved the location. It was in a nice part of the city that gives you a feel for local life. It’s easy to get to tourist attractions. The room is large and quiet. Heating and hot water were good. Towels were good. Staff were friendly. Mattress was the best I’d had in the country as many others are hard.

Просторные номера, приветливые хозяева, относительно недалеко от всех локаций. Но мы не передвигались пешком так как были с детьми. Очень чисто и уютно, все в современном стиле, но по-семейному.

El personal es súper amable el hotel están limpísimo la ubicación está como a 30 minutos caminando a la plaza del registan pero si no tienes ganas de pasear el personal del hotel te ayuda a pedir un taxi y la tarifa de taxi para todo samarcanda es de 20000 sums que al cambio es menos de 2€

I went to the reception, the day before check out and told them I’ll leave the next day and they said it’s fine. Day of check out, I went back to the reception twice to let them know I’m checking out and they said everything is fine, I can leave. I said goodbye and left. I assumed everything was fine because I was at the reception 3 times letting them know I’m leaving and they said I could go. I assumed booking.com charged my card like always.
An hour later after I left I get 10 text messages, 2 missed calls & 4 voice notes from the staff saying that he forgot to charge me. That he has spent his own personal money to pay my hotel and he wants me to send it immediately to his personal card. I told him I’ll ask booking.com to charge my card and he said no, he wants the money immediately because he needs to pay his house rent. I was so shocked because he went to the system and got my personal WhatsApp and texted me in such an unacceptable & unprofessional way. On top of that, he went and told his colleague who then messaged me about the money. Saying the guy used his personal money to pay rent, that I’m right its their fault but “you should not be upset about his mistake either” I was extremely mad at that ridiculous comment. Who are you to tell me how to feel when you don’t even know how to do your job right? On top of that, they don't even have a bank account. They want card-card payment which doesn’t exist in Dubai, then crypto payment, then bank transfer to their friend in Dubai which is so weird. I did the wire transfer & he confirmed he received the money but I was so angry with how this hotel disrespected me & how they don't have solutions to problems. You need to take full responsibility for problems you create and handle it professionally. U don’t contact the guest in such a disgusting embarrassing manner!
They ruined my holiday & their own reputation for what? $118??
