Disappointing considering the deposit price and customer services.
Pros:

On arrival was asked for £100 booking deposit contrary to the email confirmation saying I will not be charged any more on arrival. I was told I can cancel my booking if I can’t pay it (I drove 2hours from london). Had I known prior to arrival this would have been no issue however this was Ended up paying the fee and was told I would get refund on check out which didn’t happen & now having to call booking.com to sort it. Underneath bedsheets the mattress had blood and yellow stains, sofa and chair in the property were also not the cleanest. Not the easiest to find either.

Cons:

Could have been told on the booking that on arrival there would be £100 charge. Booking actually said the OPPOSITE!! That I wouldn’t be charged anything further. New mattress or perhaps mattress cleaning needed for room b7.

Pros:

The room was spacious and front desk lady was nice

Cons:

The room was filthy and stank of stale smoke, there was rubbish under the sofa and in cupboards, some of the toiletries in the bathroom were empty

Pros:

Like that there was a bath with lots of hot water, facilities to do basic cooking and plenty of parking.

Cons:

The place looked fairly new and so was clean, but the finish isn't great, including paint on tiles in the bathroom and no splashback in the kitchen, so it will get tired quickly. It would be good to have sockets more easily accessible in the bedroom. One dodgy socket in the lounge. It would also benefit from a small table and chairs for breakfast.
