The location was excellent, right in the heart of Glasgow. The apartment was clean and a good size. Bed was comfortable. We were worried that we would be disturbed by the funfair that was directly outside the front door, but the room was at the back of the building and was therefore very quiet. Lovely toiletries
I didn't like having to have £100 deposit on hold on my bank account. Otherwise, all was good
Liked to coded door entry. Main studio room spacious and had all we needed.
Bathroom a bit too small to use comfortably.
Great location and they communicated well prior to my arrival!
Nothing
Nice room, great location. Was a great stay at a great price
Would have liked to be able to watch tv in bed. The sofa not comfortable to lounge on.
We were kept awake by a group of very intimidating individuals who were causing a lot of issues all day and night outside. Clearly drug users/dealers etc. at one point we were concerned they were going to kick the door in as we could hear loud banging and saw them climbing up the adjacent window. The front door did not seem very safe as it looked like the lock had previously been forced. I feel a double door system would have been better as my partner felt the need to block the view to the key code from the individuals hanging about. I phoned the following morning and told the member of staff about my concerns. He informed me there were security cameras and staff were present in the building, but we still felt if they had gained access by the time the staff arrived they could have been up the stairs. We were glad we had got back early because no way would we have felt safe approaching the building and entering the code.
I spoke to police the morning after who were in a van outside the main door…and they told me of the constant issues in that area due to the fair ground being there which also attracted undesirables.
We clearly saw a group of about 6 in the doorway clearly taking drugs.
I know these issues are not your issues, however, maby the council need to be informed of the issues that having a fun fair there creates for your business.
As much as I loved your establishment, feeling unsafe was very scary and affected the stay.
The apartment was spacious and conveniently located in the town centre. Having a car park just around the corner was also a great advantage.
The main downside was the communication. We were not provided with the code to access the reception before our arrival, and although the property offers a discounted parking rate, this was never offered to us.
My deposit has still not been released, even though we checked out nearly a week ago. We were told it would be released within one day.
Communication was poor throughout our stay. We received no response to our messages on WhatsApp or through the Booking.com app.
The room itself was not very clean and could have been maintained to a much higher standard. Despite breakfast not being included, the room was overpriced.
There were also local troublemakers making a lot of noise just outside the hotel, which made the stay less enjoyable.
Unfortunately, because of these issues, I would not recommend this property.
Great location, relatively quiet considering it was right in the centre
The rooms were spacious all well equipped for any length of stay.
The number of young adults hanging about just outside the door, they were quite off putting especially as you had to take time to put your could in for the automatic entry door.
Receptionist was helpful, room was clean
Na
The property is very well developed; it is an older building, but the interiors were very modern. We had an issue with our first room; one of the windows didn't have blackout curtains, and we were there at the end of June. The sun doesn't set until 22:15. They were able to move us to a comparable room that certainly met our needs. Overall, the staff was very responsive.
Unfortunately, it is located on St. Enoch's Square. A potentially lovely area, but we were bothered by the noise of the raucous street people who were in the alley and on the square. We complained, and they called the police to "make their rounds," which seemed to help. We also had some issues with the Q-park letting us into the building.
The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable
We arrived 50 minutes before check in time and was disappointed that we were told we would have to pay £20 to check in early. I would have expected some flexibility. Despite this, the fridge hadn't been properly cleaned. Also, there were no mugs or tea cups in a generally well equipped kitchen, only small coffee cups.
Central location, room was big and comfortable
Lights that come on when you move in the night
Very central location, air con on a very warm night
Expensive for 1 night and wasn’t able to make a coffee in the morning as the lid was glued on. Shower water was warm at best
Nice big room, very clean ,easy to access.
Very bad area,noise.
Cool room, nepresso coffee machine but no milk ! good location and quiet.Comfortable bed/pillows
Room not ready when we arrived after asking us what time we would arrive. This was due to plumbing issue in our booked room and they gave us another room.
We had to wait whilst they rushed to clean it.We had limited time as we were at a concert Cleaning was basic but they offered us a later check out.
Bed and bedding comfortable and quiet
However no hot water in the morning for a shower or to wash up.Feel abit ripped off at £300 for 1 night.
