Pros:

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Bed was comfortable. It met our bare requirements. We didn't dine I unfortunately as we just need to room for the night.

Ein guter Standort für Ausflüge in die Region.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bad außergewöhnlich groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Abendessen im angeschlossenen Pub/Restaurant war gut.

Cons:

Keine Staufächer im Schrank, 3 Bügel für alle. Es wurde kein Frühstück im Hotel angeboten, wir wurden freundlich in den nächsten Ort verwiesen.

Lovely friendly hotel in quiet location with excellent food.
Pros:

Stayed for one night and I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, (a very nice lady), nice locals, the selection of draught lagers and the quality of the food.
The hotel is in a very quiet location but only a few miles from Lytham and the M55.
My room was large comfortable and spotless and I would definitely stay here again.
Just to clarify they don't do cooked breakfasts but you can buy a breakfast bag of croissants etc to take away or have in room I imagine.
However I was recommended a bistro only two miles away which served a lovely breakfast, just check their opening days with the staff.

Brief stay away

Breakfast not available even though shown when booking.Was directed to another establishment.
Room in need if some tlc didnt look like photograph.Executive quuen room also listed as family room.
Dust on top of wardrobe.Sofa bed looked like attacked by pride of lions wouldnt recommend sleeping on it.
Room smelt of dogs.
Cobwebs and paint on outside of windows.
Confusion when ordering drinks in bar at night young lad was presumably training and miscommunicated to senior bar staff who came across rude.
Ordered a dessert with drinks while eating dessert member of kitchen staff came out to see if we had finished he came across rude and in a hurry.
Checked out early due to experience and car park was in total darkness even though says flood lit and cctv.

Everything was standard. The food was lovely and plenty full. Staff very helpful. Great for a one night stay and great value. The customers that was in there was lovely to speak to aswel very friendly. Lovely big pub and restaurant
