The food was not great for us, the portions are also super small.
The only two positive points are the manager, who tries to make up for the underlying disaster with kind gestures and commercial compensations, and the direct view of the ocean.
This is by far the most catastrophic hotel I have ever seen. The photos on the website are completely misleading — in reality, everything is run-down and in desperate need of renovation. The quality of the food is truly deplorable.
Clean rooms, spacious and good location right by the beach. Breakfast was good, a lot of selection. The pool was big and you can also use the different pools in the other Pili Pili hotels right next to Pili Pili Paradise. It was easy to find by taxi.
Everything was great.
To have breakfast incl. was awesome..would have loved to taste a little more of the local fruits...like the starfruit...and Jackfruit...Papaya...passionfruit...🤩and if you could add a continental breakfast as an option it would be fantastic...missed my bacon!! Loved the vibe the staff and the entertainment❤️
I did not like the locals lingering and starring and trying to get you attention...and not taking no for an answer. I do understand that on the beach they have a right to confront and sell you atuff....but maybe put up a screen on the sides to make it a little more private.
To be honest, only the view from the reception into the ocean.
Check in on our first night took almost 45 minutes, inspite of us being the only guest checking in at the time. We stayed in the presidential suite, which did not have any hot water for us to shower with for the first 2 days, thereafter the bathroom got infested with ants and bugs on our third nights stay which made it almost impossible to sleep in the room. Not to forget there was a cockroach in the room which was totally unacceptable. Upon informing the manager, we were shifted into another room, which again did not have any hot water for us to enjoy a good shower after a whole day of touring the city.

Lack of ac in the breakfast area. You will sweat.
The hotel advertised a double bed. On arrival, we found it to be 2 single beds pushed together.. 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a double bed.
The beach is absolutely filthy. But not the hotels fault.
The beach boys. They are so annoying. They ruin your stay.
We left after 5 days to find a better place in the north. It was much better there.

I had a wonderful stay; the hotel is fantastic with a room facing the pool and the ocean. The staff was wonderfully kind and always available, and the poolside food was fantastic and not expensive. Three wonderful days that went by too quickly. Every evening they organized themed nights — don’t miss the African dinner, it’s exquisite!
It’s clean and you have varieties to choose from.

We are still grinning from ear to ear after our amazing stay at Pilli Pilli Hotel! The whole team went above and beyond to make our holiday unforgettable and cater to our every need.
Huge shoutout to incredible Managers Billy & Jonas festo,as well as the F&B manager Tanda who all ensured that everything was perfect and we were happy🤗. Richard, the Barman, always had impeccable timing and crafted delicious smoothies. And Chef Godfree, your culinary skills were simply divine!
What really made our stay special was the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff. From housekeeping to reception, everyone was smiling and always ready to help. And let's not forget the feline friends who welcomed us! 🐈 They were absolutely adorable and friendly. I even ended up donating some cat food, which brought joy to both me and the kitties 😊.
Tip for future guests: if you'd like to bring some extra joy to the hotel, consider bringing some cat food - I'm sure the furry residents would appreciate it! 🙏
