Cozy Sand Beach Hotel

As the name says, it is a super cozy room, clean, very close to the beach and 5 minutes walk from town center which it is very nice because it is quiet and not very busy. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If you need something just ask, from a TukTuk to a Safari :)

Unfassbar nette Hosts die alles mögliche organisiert haben, eine gute Lage am Rand vom Trubel. Und durch die Außenanlagen kühl und sehr gut zum Entspannen.

Excellent accueil de la part de Mufa et Musa. Ils sont de très bon conseil. L'hôtel est charmant et très bien situé (à deux pas de la plage). La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. De plus, ils proposent un service lessive impeccable. Un grand merci !

Cozy Sand Beach Hotel is a great spot that really matches the easy-going vibe of Arugam Bay. It’s simple, relaxed, and has that boho style where you don’t need luxury to feel good. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, and it feels like everyone’s welcome here.

I really enjoyed their fresh mango juice while chilling with the sea breeze. A big thanks to Musi and Mufa for taking such good care of my 10-year-old son — they were amazing and made us feel at home. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a laid-back stay right by the beach.

La chambre correspond aux attentes des prix. Le grand point fort de cet établissement est son personnel. Le monsieur était très à l’écoute et aux petits soins pour nous.

De eigenaren zijn twee broers en zijn ontzettend vriendelijk! Wij vroegen of we drinken konden kopen bij het verblijf, dit was niet op de locatie zelf maar hij ging meteen voor ons naar de winkel. Ontzettend lief!
Prima kamers, goede wifi & airconditioning. Binnen 1 minuut aan het strand.

Cabana preciosa molt ben cuidada i neta. La ubicació es perfecta, aprop de tot pero fora del soroll de Arugam Bay. Els dos germans que porten l’allotjament van ser extremadament amables i ens van ajudar en tot el que els vam preguntar. Gràcies a ells també vam poder tenir una gran experiencia amb el surf. Recomanem moltissim la estada i esperem poder tornar!

Super guesthouse à 100m de la plage, au calme, proche du centre. Le cadre est adorable. Chaque bungalow dispose d une petite terrasse individuelle.
Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, serviables et de bon conseils (organisation en transport privé à prix raisonnables).

Las habitaciones están muy bien, son espaciosas, limpias, tienen aire acondicionado y ventilador.. Además está bien ubicado cerca de la playa y del centro, pero sin las molestias del ruido. Aunque lo principal es el servicio y amabilidad de los dos hermanos que lo regentan, pendientes de ayudarte en todo momento y eficientes a la hora de gestionar excursiones o traslados. Les vamos a echar de menos!

Unsere hosts waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben für unsere 4-köpfige Familie eine sehr zuverlässige Surfschule organisiert. Weiters haben sie auch die Kumana Nationalpark - Jeeptour, sowie die Lagoon Tour und auch den Weiter-Transport organisiert - günstiger als Pick-Me). Und das alles zu sehr guten Preisen. Zum Strand nur 1 Minute zu Fuß, der Strandabschnitt ist auch in der Hochsaison wenig besucht und somit ruhig. Trotz hoher Wellen ist Baden möglich!

Rooms were nice. The beds are big and comfy and have nets. There is a nice seating area with comfy chairs overlooking the wonderful garden. Staff is super friendly and very attentive - they organised transport and such. I liked the location at the beginning of town as it is a bit quieter. Everything is easily accessible by foot - also some nice breakfast places. Beach is just down the road - though access is a bit tricky with some steep steps over rubble. But just take the next street - passing one nice breakfast place ;) also note there was an elephant in the lagoon every day - just 100 meters from the hotel :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Sand Beach Hotel. The staff are so nice and welcoming, they even gave us homemade juice. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect location just outside the city center in a quiet, peaceful area. The owners are incredibly nice and very helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. The rooms are spotless and very clean, and they come with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The place was super clean and organised, the people are super nice, they helped us, they were there whenever we needed them, they helped us even to fix our luggage and they didn't want to accept money for it. They were super kind and helpful and the place is super cozy
