On site spa was nice
Pros:

The bed/mattress was one if the best I have slept on during my travels thru India. All of the staff tried really hard to please the customers. A+ for their efforts.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the floors in this property and others I have stayed in is awful. They sweep with a filthy broom/mop; then squirt the floors with something from a spray bottle. Then use the same filthy broom/mop to spread the dirt around. Totally ineffective.

Excellent place, great staff and location was lovely!
Pros:

The staff was great! Food was amazing, and facilities were excellent. Location was awesome as well, super quiet and walkable for all tourist places. Spandan, Durga and the security team really did amazing job, they were so respectful and helpful. Thank you for everything! Namaste 🙏🏽

Had a nice stay at Hyatt Bodgaya
Pros:

Reception guys were quick, efficient, helpful and very polite.
Buffet breakfast is nice and a la carte food at the restaurant is also good.
Rooms/ bathroom are clean and spacious.
Professional spa services are provided.

Wonderful Stay in Bodh Gaya
Pros:

Hyatt Place is a fabulous place to stay in Bodh Gaya. We were welcomed with a welcome drink, a Buddhist bead necklace and a Buddhist stole. All the staff, from the security lady in the lobby to the front office and restaurant staff, were well-trained and had a good service attitude. We were also lucky to get a room upgrade due to low occupancy. The location of the hotel is not far from the Mahabodhi temple, a 100-rupee tuk-tuk ride, and in 5 minutes, you are at the temple.

If Buddha had options… he might have considered this
Pros:

Stayed at Hyatt Place Bodh Gaya and honestly, I think this is probably the only place in the area where you can stay comfortably and feel like Bihar is being presented at its best.
The hotel is grand and very much up to Hyatt standards, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully done. After being out in Bodh Gaya, coming back here feels like a reset button.
The people are extremely warm. They understand why you’re here i.e temples, prayer, a bit of inner searching and they make it easy. There’s even a meditation room, which feels very on-brand for the location. Also, small but important detail: cold water always available… because Bihar.
A special mention to the lady at the entrance, just genuinely kind and welcoming in a way that doesn’t feel forced. The staff also helps arrange cars for pick-up/drop and even e-rickshaws if you want to explore the city, which makes logistics very smooth.
Yes, the electricity can go out sometimes but that’s more of a Bihar situation than a Hyatt one.
Only small feedback: the bathroom lighting could be a bit better. But honestly, I didn’t mind too much because I’m not trying to have deep eye contact with myself in the mirror on vacation anyway.
Overall, a really solid stay. And let’s be honest, if you’re coming to Bodh Gaya and want comfort, this is pretty much your best bet.
