If Buddha had options… he might have considered this
Pros:

Stayed at Hyatt Place Bodh Gaya and honestly, I think this is probably the only place in the area where you can stay comfortably and feel like Bihar is being presented at its best.
The hotel is grand and very much up to Hyatt standards, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully done. After being out in Bodh Gaya, coming back here feels like a reset button.
The people are extremely warm. They understand why you’re here i.e temples, prayer, a bit of inner searching and they make it easy. There’s even a meditation room, which feels very on-brand for the location. Also, small but important detail: cold water always available… because Bihar.
A special mention to the lady at the entrance, just genuinely kind and welcoming in a way that doesn’t feel forced. The staff also helps arrange cars for pick-up/drop and even e-rickshaws if you want to explore the city, which makes logistics very smooth.
Yes, the electricity can go out sometimes but that’s more of a Bihar situation than a Hyatt one.
Only small feedback: the bathroom lighting could be a bit better. But honestly, I didn’t mind too much because I’m not trying to have deep eye contact with myself in the mirror on vacation anyway.
Overall, a really solid stay. And let’s be honest, if you’re coming to Bodh Gaya and want comfort, this is pretty much your best bet.

Very bad experience
Cons:

No in room dining and were told they have 24/7 restaurant where we can get food, it was not true. They said restaurant will be closed by 10.30 and no food will be available after that. How come no in room dining and no food after 10.30.

The staff were extremely attentive and helpfully, giving restaurant suggestions, arranging tuk tuks, speaking to them on
Pros:

A quiet little oasis on the edge of town. Peaceful and adorned with cascading greenery giving the property an interesting tranquility.

Cons:

It is a little out of town, but for 100 Rs for a tuk tuk, it is an easy obstacle to overcome.

An incredibly warm and safe stay with outstanding service from a truly dedicated team.
Pros:

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The service was top-notch, from the warm welcome at the reception to the attentive staff in the dining room. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The environment is beautiful, and the genuine warmth from every staff member made it feel like a home away from home.

Cons:

A wonderful stay with exceptional service, though adding mosquito protection in the rooms would make it perfect.
