Pros:

Small, nice hotel just outside the center but close to the beach about 3 minutes and with sea view. Only around 10-15 minutes to the center.

It was very traumatic and not worth the price

It was in a central location

Cons:

There are bugs in the room and you can tell they do not clean properly, they also do not have an open front door 24/7. I got locked out trying to come up to my room at 2 am and they did not respond to multiple attempts at communication and it forced me to stay outside until 6 am. If you value your piece of mind do not book this hostel!!!

Pros:

The location was great and so was the view. It was great price-performance. The stuff was kind, the breakfast was okay. We even stayed one day longer than planned. We also booked one night boat trip with them.

Cons:

Maybe just a note that for payment there is only cash option (or is maybe just prefered, not sure). The stuff speaks very little english, but with some gestures and google translate we managed to communicate everything.

The weather was wet and I was poorly but the staff looked after me very well

Very large rooms with en-suite and very friendly owners. The 4th floor had an amazing view with huge windows!

It's on the big street with many restaurants and bars. The room is with stunning view of the bay. Bathroom with a tub.

Cons:

The loud music at 4 o'clock in the morning comes from to the plaza in front. I couldn't sleep.

Pros:

Cat Ba Victory hostel is in the very center of this lively small town, everything is only a few steps away. I had one oft the rooms with great panorama windows overlooking the bay and harbour - wonderful! Staff is very friendly and helpful für organizing and booking tours. Food is very good!

Great location. Very friendly, helpful and open-minded staff. Some of the equipment is a bit outdated and will be gradually renewed. The bed linen was changed upon request. Delicious breakfast and coffee. They organized a nice boat tour.
