We kregen net voor vertrek te horen dat we niet in hotel PARADISIO maar in
HOTEL CAVALLI

Kamer 311 tot en met 315 – Braet Francois

Blijkbaar had ik net de slechtste kamer 315.
De stoel aan het bureel viel uiteen wanneer ik er wou gaan op zitten.
Gelukkig is er niets met mij gebeurd, de vijs lag gewoon op de grond.
Dit was absoluut niet veilig en getuigt van weinig aandacht voor onderhoud.

Toen ik me wou wassen, liet ik het water zachtjes in de wastafel lopen (ervaring), maar ook dan liep de wastafel onmiddellijk vol.
Hoe je die leeg en proper hebt gekregen, blijft voor mij een raadsel.
Mogelijk duwen diegenen die de kamers komen poetsen een rol toiletpapier erin om het water er alzo uit te krijgen?
Want van zichzelf loopt het echt niet weg.
Het lijkt me geen correcte oplossing en het maakt het voor gasten onmogelijk om normaal gebruik te maken van de voorzieningen.

Ik heb dus mijn tanden niet kunnen poetsen, mij niet kunnen scheren met Gillette, en heb me moeten wassen als een poes.
Dit is echt onbegrijpelijk voor een hotelkamer die naar behoren zou moeten functioneren.

Op de WC staat de WC rol achter je rug hogerop, hoe kan je dan WC-papier nemen als je op het toilet zit? *
Zo'n onpraktische inrichting zorgt alleen maar voor ergernis.

Wanneer ik een douche wou nemen die ochtend, heb ik dat na het bekijken van de douchegordijn maar opgegeven.
Die douche gordijnen ook in de kamers van onze vrienden zijn gewoon vies en smerig

De flatscreen tegen de muur met beugel hangt scheef en valt niet recht te zetten, enfin?

Er was ook geen waterkoker voorzien terwijl er wel instant koffie en thee was.
Maar ook geen beker of tas? Dat maakt het onmogelijk om van de aangeboden dranken te genieten.
Zoiets hoort gewoon standaard aanwezig te zijn in een hotelkamer.

Verder hadden wij geboekt bij hotel Paradisio Visserstraat naast Wit Paard, en hadden we toegezegd gekregen.
Ik verkoos dit hotel boven alle andere omdat we met een groep senioren zijn waarvan er enkele niet meer zo goed te been zijn.
