Good 4* Hotel half way up (or down) a hill with some very good shops and restaurants nearby.
Pros:

Good sized rooms with good shower. Staff very helpful. Good television

Cons:

Some staff need better training. Dinner Table D'Hote not very exciting.

Overall the stay was pleasant. For the price we payed we can’t complain. €340 for 4 nights with breakfast for 2
Pros:

Pool areas were great. Location is great as it’s close by to everything . Taxi ride to centre was €8 . Loads of great restaurants nearby.

Cons:

The rooms and furnishings are extremely dated and need upgrading asap. The breakfast was poor. Juices served are not fresh etc. 2 single beds pushed together made sleeping uncomfortable as a couple.

Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was big and functional. The location is good for finding walkable food options

Cons:

I did not expect to have to pay for parking.
I think it is a little silly how early the sauna and steam room closed - i would have loved to use it later in the evening.

Cons:

Hade sett fram emot att få njuta mer av olika frukter och grönsaker, så som chirrimoya "fruta do conde" och Avokado och Papaya men det var mest ananas, melon, och inlagda persikor samma hela veckan.

This hotel needs renovation and improvements of cleaning
Pros:

Location, friendly staff . The hotel has a swimming pool and wellness area, but we haven't used as it was only one night stay.

Cons:

The hotel is dated but it wouldn't be a problem if it is kept clean... Unfortunately in my room I found an insect( silverfish) close to the kitchenette. On the floor in the bathroom and in the bathtub were someone's hair.
Breakfast buffet was with many options but coffee, juice and some other products like cheese or scrambled eggs were low quality.

I do not understand how this is a 4 star hotel - very disappointed
Pros:

restaurant was lovely and breakfast food was lovely with a lot of choice. staff were polite and friendly.
great access to local shop centre and bus transport system.

Cons:

noise all day humming which i thought came from air con but i turned this off and it persisted. I wonder if it was coming from roof as we were on tenth floor (out of 11). it didn't stop til late and started again by 6am. I didn't appreciate that I reported the noise and a maintenance person was supposed to visit but never turned up.
decor was falling apart, furniture stained, dark room.
not very well sound insulated - had to knock on wall to indicate to neighbours that we could here them.
no bathrobes to get to and from pool/sauna. the changing rooms felt old and grimey with no where to sit which is quite difficult when you are trying to change!
I would say they need to update hotel photos - the outside looked dirty with cracks.
don't know where the dressing room was as advertised - I couldn't find it!
only found a couple of TV channels in english - couldn't find subtitles
the safety deposit box had no way of locking -so useless
shower temperature fluctuated throughout. bath only had a few non slip strips so half of it was very slippery
way, way overpriced
sadly this was supposed to be our bit of luxury after several days of travelling - Please do not bother

Unser Aufenthalt war gut.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist zentral.
Es gibt ein Parkhaus für 3€ pro Tag.
Die Reinigung jeden Tag war super.

Cons:

Es war alles sehr hellhörig.
Die Fenster waren zu und es war trotzdem sehr laut. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, wird ein Problem haben.
Der Flur mit dem Teppich macht einen schlechten Eindruck. War auch sehr dreckig!
Das Frühstück war gut. Aber wer eine Woche gebucht hat,isst immer das gleiche Frühstück.
Das finde ich schade.
