Mit einem anderen (Preis)Konzept würde ich die Unterkunft als Bed & Breakfast besser bewerten.

Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – keine Empfehlung

Dies ist die erste negative Bewertung, die wir jemals schreiben müssen, aber bei einem Preis von 400 EUR pro Nacht haben wir uns schlichtweg über den Tisch gezogen gefühlt. Nach unserem dreiwöchigen Norwegen-Urlaub ist dies mit Abstand die Unterkunft mit dem schlechtesten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – aus unserer Sicht mindestens 150 EUR zu teuer.

Das Zimmer bot lediglich Blick auf die Straße und den Berg (leider keinen Fjord), war sehr einfach, klein und extrem hellhörig. Besonders ärgerlich: Als Hotelgast zahlt man satte 1400 NOK extra für die Nutzung des Whirlpools – ein in unseren Augen völlig unverhältnismäßiger Aufpreis, den wir in keinem anderen Hotel in Norwegen erlebt haben.

Das Abendessen (1000 NOK pro Person für 3 Gänge) war geschmacklich in Ordnung, spiegelte den hohen Preis jedoch ebenfalls kaum wider. Auch beim Frühstück war die allgemeine Unzufriedenheit unter den Gästen deutlich spürbar.

Schade, hier stimmt das Verhältnis von Leistung und Kosten absolut nicht.

Charming heritage hotel in lovely location on the edge of the water, and excellent dinner.
Pros:

Superb location on edge of fjord, with lovely views from our bedroom. Cheerful, helpful staff and very good food.

Cons:

Rooms are small, and bathroom tiny but functional. No place to unpack. Best bring basic luggage.

Erzählung der Geschichte des Hotels und Umgebung war sehr interessant. Das Hotel ist sehr familiär!

Cons:

Picknick auf der Hotel Terrasse mit Pizza… sollte nicht erlaubt sein. Leider muss man dies heute den Gästen mitteilen.

Pros:

This was our favorite stay for our honeymoon in Norway.

Every detail of this bed and breakfast is so thoughtfully decorated and cared for.

The service is incredible and the views are breathtaking.

We were upgraded to the best view in the house as a honeymoon treat and it was unreal.

The owner came and chatted with us all about the history of Fjaerland and it was so interesting to hear.

We highly recommend doing the 3 course dinner and wine pairing. The chefs are amazing and the experience is so fun.

It all felt like a dream
