Fantastic views from the room, the restaurant and the pool area over to Las Islas Tortugas and the Pacific coastline. Lots of birds and howler monkeys in the canopy just below the hotel. Very helpful restaurant staff, nice food. Comfortable bed.
We had a good many ants (large and small) in our room particularly on the first night. We were in one of the older rooms, could do with better maintenance and better seals around doors and windows. Reception staff not much interested in mitigating the ant issue.
Not much hot water in the shower.
Steep climb from the road to the hotel, probably around 150-200m, the first part paved but the second part quite rough. We were glad of a 4x4. Parking for only about 10 cars - hotel has 20 rooms.
Beautiful property and the views are spectacular. They also make really good drinks.
There is a lot of stairs and ramps to walk being on the hillside, just something to be aware of. Would also like to see more pool deck space, there is a beautiful shrub in the middle that over takes the ability to sit at the pool edge without being in front of the pool entrance.

The area was beautiful and we had a lovely view from our room.
The road onto the property was rocky. And the parking lot was small for the number of cars. Would be nice if the road was graded.
Fantastic boutique hotel. We loved our stay. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was exceptional. The view was breathtaking. Only a short drive to the nearest beach. Lots of excursion options close by. Would highly recommend.
Mattress was a little hard, but that is just a personal preference. Only suggestion would be to have robes in the room, would be a nice personal touch.
Great location with views that don’t disappoint. Room perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay but would happily stay a couple of days. Saw the howler monkeys and Scarlett macaws from our balcony which was a real treat. Great location for the ferry and bioluminescent kayak trip both only a 10 minute drive away.
The views from the property
Rooms are too small for 4, dated..
The hotel is very nice because of the view it offers, however it is so isolated and there is not much to do around, the closest local town is not very pleasant.
The road leading to the hotel is awful. If it’s a night time, raining and you don’t have 4x4, I would not recommend driving.
