Hidden gem in Paquera
Pros:

The property is beautiful and very serene, with a beautiful garden and wildlife everywhere. The rooms are super comfortable with a large bed and bathroom. We loved that you can see the ocean and howler monkeys directly from our balcony.
We especially loved the pool during sunset, it’s wonderful and refreshing, and the little cabanas make everything feel private and well taken care of.

We booked dinner at the restaurant and were left pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and so was the service. We wish we would have eaten more nights there! Overall one of my favorite hidden gems in Costa Rica, we’ve been here multiple times.

Cons:

We got one of the final rooms in the property, and the stairs are quite difficult. I recommend making a special request when booking.

The breakfast was a little plain, but as expected from the majority of similar hotels.

Todo cuidado y con vistas excelentes
Pros:

Las vistas del hotel desde la terraza y habitaciones son espectaculares. La habitacion es amplia. Todo muy limpio y las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. La piscina fantástica. Lo mejor, el trato de todo el personal. Hicimos el tour de bioluminiscencia e Isla Tortuga a través de ellos y fantástico. El desayuno muy completo.

Cons:

El último tramo para acceder es una pista de tierra en muy mal estado. El restaurante para cenar no tiene mucha variedad. Las camas nos parecieron incómodas.

Las vistas desde cualquier parte del hotel son maravillosas, el desayuno muy bueno y la piscina con vista al Golfo espectacular.

Cons:

Hay varios gatos en el lugar y en algunas zonas comunes (no en las habitaciones, que están impecables) hay un fuerte olor a orín de gato. Eso se puede mejorar. ,

The room, the pool everything was super clean.
The stuff super friendly and the food was good.
Realy close to the tortuga islands tour. Just 10 min walk down and check the tours.

Su vista al mar. Desde la piscina puede uno observar el mar.

Cons:

El acceso es, un poco más, de 2 km no asfaltado. Aunque hay playas cercanas, es conveniente salir en auto.

Sympathische Unterkunft mit nettem Personal.
Pros:

Die Aussicht auf die Küste war sehr schön, ebenso die Aussicht vom Pool. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Der Paquera Ferry-Pier ist nahe gelegen, ideal, wenn man am nächsten Morgen die Fähre nach Puntarenas nimmt.

Cons:

Unser Standard-Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Zimmer führen Treppen, da am Hang gelegen, es gibt keine Rampe. Am Pool gab es zu wenig Liegen für die ausgebuchte Unterkunft.

Has potential and if does not act will be overtaken by another property

The view is amazing from the room balcony and pool
They were pricey but the cocktails were decent
Breakfast was also decent

Cons:

Driveway access is partially done but not a problem for us as experienced off-road drivers, but definitely does not allow you to come and go
Very expensive and you are pretty much trapped at the property and need to buy what they offer
Food is absolutely terrible (frozen meat and vegetables) and extremely expensive, and it is not easy to leave this place due to driveway access. You cannot have any cold drinks as no fridge in rooms.

Bit of a mixed bag
Pros:

Fantastic views from the room, the restaurant and the pool area over to Las Islas Tortugas and the Pacific coastline. Lots of birds and howler monkeys in the canopy just below the hotel. Very helpful restaurant staff, nice food. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

We had a good many ants (large and small) in our room particularly on the first night. We were in one of the older rooms, could do with better maintenance and better seals around doors and windows. Reception staff not much interested in mitigating the ant issue.
Not much hot water in the shower.
Steep climb from the road to the hotel, probably around 150-200m, the first part paved but the second part quite rough. We were glad of a 4x4. Parking for only about 10 cars - hotel has 20 rooms.

Pros:

Beautiful property and the views are spectacular. They also make really good drinks.

Cons:

There is a lot of stairs and ramps to walk being on the hillside, just something to be aware of. Would also like to see more pool deck space, there is a beautiful shrub in the middle that over takes the ability to sit at the pool edge without being in front of the pool entrance.
