A true gem of a hotel
Pros:

Beautiful, incredible really hotel, with fantastic views over the Conwy estuary and hills. To sit outside and look over the bowling green over the valley is a sight to see. Great common rooms, good restaurant, really nice bar. We had a wonderful room overlooking the green and valley. The family running the hotel are really really nice.

Cons:

There was not a thing I didn´t like.

Small hotel , good location , quiet .

Cons:

Food very mixed . It wasnt busy in the restaurant so no excuse . Pea risotto and sea bass - tasteless . In fact little seasoning on anything . Steak and salad - salad came chopped up into nail size pieces - expected leafy dressed salad with a decent dressing .Perhaps the chefs cant be bothered to taste or try anything ?? Who is managing them ?

Pros:

Tolle Anlage, großes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss, sehr schönes Bad, eine Wohlfühlunterkunft. Gutes Frühstück. Für uns ein sehr schöner Start für eine längere Reise durch Wales.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt weit außerhalb von Conwy. Man braucht einen Wagen, um in den Ort zu gelangen.
