Lovely place with great views.
Great room, comfy bed. Large TV with all the apps (need own passwords).

Arrived during a forecasted storm but the room and bar area were quite cool.
Fan heater was provided in the room.
Open fires in the bar area would have made the place feel a bit more cosy.
The heating was put on during our last day.

Very large and comfortable room, good shower. Quiet and liked the view over the mountains in the distance.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Good tea/coffee facilities. Good breakfast choices and veggie options available. Though limited evening meal choices there was also a "nibbles" menu which meant you could ring the changes for a slightly longer stay.
Main bugbear of mine is that the continental option always seems to offer meat and cheese on the same plate to serve yourself. I do not want my cheese in contact with meat! I was offered a separate plate with just cheese but managed to serve myself without "cross continuation".
Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful with a lovely room ( Conway suite)friendly and helpful staff. (Oscar on our arrival and Rebecca at breakfast.)
Added bonus, a crown green bowling green that we had fun playing on whilst having a drink.

The food was excellent.
The location means that there's not much option to explore anywhere else without driving.
It is such a beautiful place inside and out, and the area is quiet and peaceful, It is such a big estate, and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

The dining room was a very pleasant area with lovely high ceilings and well appointed. The breakfast menu was excellent with either hot or cold choice all of good quality and the cooked food was always hot with hot plates.
It is difficult to say as it was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The only possible point was that the coffee could have been a bit hotter otherwise everything was very outstanding.
The cooked breakfast was hot and delicious.
The only observation wasvthat the room I was in was over-looking the carpark. You could see the hilld, but it didn't spoil the stay.

Beautiful building, and decor. Rooms so quiet and peaceful, the views out of the window was spectacular.
Sadly we did not eat in the restaurant as we had another engagement.
There is only one thing I didn't like,
there is no mattress cover on the bed.
It was well decorated and clean - the view from our room was beautiful
I thought the some of the staff were unfriendly - I was charged with alcoholic drinks - I didn’t notice at the time and when I rang and told the receptionist she said she would get someone to ring me back - no one did and then I saw the amount overcharged refunded in my bank account that night - no explanation or apology

Die Aussicht von unserem Zimmer aus war märchenhaft und es wechselte mit Wolken und Sonnenschein die Stimmung in angenehmer Art.
Wir hatten ein extrem kleines Waschbecken und die Abpumpung jeglichen von uns gebrauchten Wassers war im Zimmer hörbar.
An einem Sonntag (wir kamen von einer weiteren Wanderung und haben es überlesen dass sonntags keine Küche ist) baten wir um einen Toast oder Brot mit irgendetwas - das Personal- 3 junge nicht unbedingt ambitionierte Angestellte gaben sich extrem ablehnend und machten sich einen Spaß aus unserer Situation - so hatten wir das Gefühl. Das ist uns so noch nie passiert!! Aber sie könnten von einer Dame die auch dort arbeitet und kompetent sowie freundlich ist sicher noch viel lernen.

Location, which is very large and is also an upmarket caravan site, is quite remote and gated but beautiful and safe
No lifts. Our (beautiful) room was on second floor but steep staircases for elderly guests.
Staff kindly suggested taking a lower room for our nights 2 & 3 which we did .
