Did not have breakfast
The lack of a meal on the premises, if wanted had to come from Boksburg
It was convenient in terms of location to the event we were attending.
We were initially put into a small, cramped room right next door to the office. There was very little space, no natural ventilation and it seemed that the room hadn't been prepared. Tea and coffee but no kettle, only two very 'flat' pillows and no towels. We were provided with towels on request and the gentleman brought some more pillows, of his own accord. We only spent a short time in the room freshening up and changing clothes to go out again. On our return at about 11.00pm, we needed guidance in terms of parking onsite, there was very little space. We were, with no explanation, moved to another room with the help of two of the staff. This was appreciated.
The door was not easy to lock.
The water pipes had problems from day 1 and there were times we couldn't shower because there was no water...

Es steht zwar Restaurant, gibt aber nicht wirklich etwas zu essen.
Rotwein hatten sie einen, den konnte man aber wirklich nicht trinken.
Habe seid x-Jahren, noch nie so schlechten Wein in Südafrika bekommen.
Habe einen Transport zum Flughafen bestellt. Das hat aber überhaupt nicht funktioniert.

the location is in the good place
the white lady at the reception has an extreme sour attitude, so unfriendly. She walked so fast to show us our room we had to run after her . she opened our room and just match in and out and said 'this is your room and left. she didn't brief us on Wi-Fi or breakfast times or anything. the following day we had no water for hours, apparently one of the staff members closed the water from the tank yet they have guest. it used to be a nice place but not anymore.
Bad experience. Didn’t get any sleep because of the partying all night by the guests. No restrictions were put in place to keep noise levels down.

The hotel did not honour our booking and moved us to a sister property 7kms away. The manager did not even have the decency to call us back as promised. The mattress was terrible and should have been replaced years ago. The pillow is so big that it cannot be used for sleeping purposes. Coffee is not even offered. The provide cheap chicory rubbish and pretend it is Nescafe.
My brother and I needed a place to stay before we traveled back to KZN and we came across lakeview ! From booking to checking in was such an easy experience, when we arrived we got helped by Webster who was very friendly and always there to help if we needed anything, thank you!

The owner/manager were rude with staff in front of guests, even though the staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay.
