The best stay of our Costa Rican holiday
Pros:

Quiet, secure and super relaxed atmosphere. Very nice French / Costa Rican owners.

Very nice, large and warm pool, cleaned daily.

A basked of pool and beach items / toys available.

Good large sized double bed that we couldn’t find anywhere else in Costa Rica so far.

They have the possibility to order a nice breakfast, but you can also cook. Nice coffee and refilled daily.

The howler monkeys and bird sounds that give you the “in the nature” feel.

Cons:

If you have the middle house, when you shower or are on the toilet, you are relatively close to your neighbours. Plus you need to have the curtains closed of both side windows for full visual privacy.

The sounds of barking dogs sometimes during the night.

Perfect, incredibly relaxing, away from big resort vibe, minimalist with maximum comfort
Pros:

Quiet, cabins clean, comfortable, hosts personable and helpful, pool at our doorstep and clean and refreshing. Near Potrero beaches, groceries, restaurants, walking distance. We only need a car to get there and leaving as roads and traffic in Costa Rica treacherous. Perfect for what we wanted, as senior and retired and widely travelled. Probably not the place for teenagers.

Pros:

Un endroit magnifique et calme avec le doux bruit des animaux qui s'exprime. Les bungalows magnifique avec tous les équipements nécessaires et une piscine ou l'on peut faire ses longueurs 💪. Merci a Maria pour son accueil et son dynamisme.

Cons:

Le ventilateur a l'étage manque de puissance.

Really great lodge with lovely pool and staff close to undeveloped beaches.
Pros:

The staff were really lovely. The pool and surrounding area were fab, and bungalows very comfortable with very good lighting . The communal seating area next to the pool was really lovely; wind chimes charming. Trees surrounded the property and we woke to hear monkeys and birds in the trees. Maria gave us lots of excellent information about nearby beaches and restaurants. Don’t miss the sunset at Playa La penca which is 10 minute walk. The lodge is on the edge of Potrero an undeveloped village with great beach bar. Do not come expecting a swish village development

Cons:

Booking.com says it has a private beach which it does not. It is 10 minutes walk on a paved road.

Instalaciones cómodas, limpias, buena atención, seguro.

Cons:

Un poco lejos de las mejores playas, el camino de ingreso no está en buenas condiciones y no hay una rotulación adecuada para llegar al sitio.

Pros:

Der Pool ist fantastisch. 25m lang, ein Traum! Die küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage fanden wir super da man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß an einem traumhaften Strand kommt. Gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge oder Restaurants.
