Its good nonetheless
Pros:

I like the staff and how attentive they are.

Cons:

My only issue is the aircon. It doesnt cool much and i dont like that the window from the toilet can easily be seen from neighboring buildings.

My stay was one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced in Puerta Vallarta. Big thanks to the crew at Tryst!
Pros:

From the point of arrival the staff was absolutely friendly and accommodating. Every host moved with a certain ease that made you feel more than welcome and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and provided top tier service. Would highly recommend staying at the Tryst Hotel to anyone.

Chic, fabulous and fun!
Pros:

GORGEOUS HOTEL!! Beautiful design! Very modern, new, chic and clean! Exceptional service!! The only thing to be mindful love is that it is a party hotel so there’s a party going on nearly 24/7 lol and you may or may not be the only female there as I was, lol since it is primarily a safe Haven for gay men, but they are the sweetest and most kind and friendly and fun gay men you’ll ever meet. But as long as you don’t mind those two things this is definitely a great place to stay. It’s centrally located in the middle of everything in the middle of downtown walking distance to the beach walking distance to great food delicious breakfast right next-door at Coco’s kitchen it was a dream place to stay. And the service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great, relaxing and upscale
Pros:

The breakfasts were good, the pool and ambience were fantastic. I liked the fact that there were not many people seen within the property although it was 80% full. If you want to relax in a beautiful atmosphere this is the place, and just a block away are all the fun and festivities if you're looking for that. All in all it's a great hotel to stay.

Cons:

The only complaint I have is that the menu selections are odd and not very appealing. I would have had room service more often if there had been a better menu.

Terrible and left me traumatized. Much better hotels to stay at in the area. Choose one of those.
Pros:

Some of the staff were nice, but came with the stereotypical gay attitude. Not in the good way.

Cons:

Terrible management during a crisis. Made me check out DURING cartel violence even though no one was able to fly into PV, when my flight had just cancelled and I had no where to go. WOULDN’T EVEN HELP ME GET A TAXI SOMEWHERE. Reception had glazed do not care face but suppose if you’re one of Tristan’s boyfriends or a muscle queen they’d be nicer to you.

A great time at a beautifully designed hotel with very kind staff (and lots of drag queens!)
Pros:

We really loved the Tryst so much. This was our 8th time in PV (we go every year) and we've always stayed on the Pinnacle properties on the hill - we learned of the Tryst and decided to give it a try as we wanted some place with more gay people. It blew us out of the water. From the beautifully designed rooms, to the filtered water stations, the complimentary welcome drinks, and the free beverages in the fridge. We loved the 24/7 room service - the Tryst Leches was incredible. We also loved that they had multiple events on the property from the Daddy event, the Drag Brunch, and the great DJ's they brought in. You have done an incredible job!

Cons:

The only thing we were not a fan of was the housekeeping. They did a great job (they did nothing wrong, please don't punish them) but I think there was confusion on when they arrive each day. There was one day they didn't come and I think it might have been because we didn't put the sign on the door. Then we put the sign on the door and they still tried to come while we were in bed. We told them 1-hour and they came back five minutes later, and then 20 minutes later. I think they may not have spoken english well and just simply didn't know what we were saying (which is perfectly fine because we were in Mexico after all and they shouldn't have to speak english.) Maybe it might be a good idea to add Spanish to the door hangers somewhere to help our Spanish speaking friends?
