The Tryst Puerto Vallarta LGBT Hotel

Words can't quite capture how amazing this place is! I booked a concert in PV at the last minute. It was my first visit, though plenty of friends had raved about the city. I hopped online to look at hotels, and while a few options were cheaper, my gut pointed me to The Tryst. I'm so glad I listened to it!

Walking into the lobby felt like being welcomed home as a returning hero. At check-in, a staff member handed me a hibiscus margarita. Yes, please!

Wes walked me up to my room and gave me the full tour. First of all, the room was spotless: a king-size bed, tons of space, and a fantastic balcony with a chair that was just begging for morning coffee. Then came the free aluminum water bottles, plus a quick stroll down the hall to show me the filtered water station. Then the mini fridge, stocked with sodas and drinks. This isn't your typical pricey U.S. mini bar. It's a totally complimentary fridge!

There was also a Nespresso machine and seriously strong air conditioning. Wes mentioned that room service runs 24 hours and told me to call the front desk for anything at all.

The staff even texted me every so often to ask if I needed anything, and one message offered laundry pickup and return by morning. Talk about service!

The bed was unbelievably comfortable, which was a lifesaver, because I wasn't feeling well that first afternoon and just needed to crash.

These folks really get their guests. The lobby is full of friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to answer questions, point you in the right direction, or share tips to make your stay even better.

I did see some complaints about construction noise, but that happens everywhere. Construction just means a place is growing and changing.

Thank you to the whole Tryst team! I'm so glad I stayed here, and it's officially "my place" for future visits. You've perfected the experience!

I loved how big and clean the room was. The bed was the perfect size. Housekeeping was on it to ensure the room was always clean. And the drag show was amazing!

Es un lugar con mucho diseño, se nota la inversión por lograr un lugar único, con muchos ambientes, buen gusto, servicio increible, una vista de locos y un manejo de comunidad muy agradable sin ser exagerados!

For a hotel that has only operated for a year I was very impressed how well it was ran. Everything was great, food, speed of service, staff friendliness. The room was was great, huge bed, quality bedding. Lovely quality coffee. Location was excellent. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to PV.
