Great hotel with a few minor glitches.
Pros:

Great location. Quiet room. Pleasant staff. Rooftop pool and restaurant were nice.

Cons:

No storage in room. Phone in room never worked, so we had to text for any requests. Ceiling fans in room could not be adjusted properly.

New Year's escape to Puerto Vallarta

Location, property, luxury terrace, rooftop pool!

Cons:

Very expensive breakfast and meals and no bottles water in bathroom for oral rinsing whilst brushing.

The coolest place to stay in PV
Pros:

Beautiful design hotel with very comfortable tastefully and thoughtfully designed rooms and facilities including fabulous pool terrace and bar on top floors. Food great. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. This place exudes cool and we loved it!

No gym …. But that is coming we understand

Great location for a younger yuppie single traveler

Hotel is in a great location! This hotel would be a good fit if you are seeking a lively , social environment.

Cons:

While this hotel is in a great location, the overall experience didn’t justify the price.The rooms are extremely small for the cost, making it difficult to relax or feel comfortable, especially if you’re staying more than a night or two. The hotel also seems very much geared toward a younger crowd in their 20s and 30s, with a party-like atmosphere that may appeal to some, but was not what I was looking for. One of the biggest downsides was the constant loud music and videos playing throughout the property. There was no real escape from the noise—even the elevators had loud videos playing, which made it feel overwhelming rather than relaxing. If you’re hoping for a quiet or restful stay, this may not be the best choice. Although the location is convenient and walkable, the hotel is overpriced for what you actually get in terms of room size, comfort, and overall ambiance. I expected much more given the nightly rate. This property might work well for travelers seeking a lively, social environment, but those looking for comfort, space, and peace may want to consider other options.

Absolutely fabulous!!
Pros:

The hotel is absolutely amazing, the shower is an indoor/outdoor concept which was fabulous. The staff were all super friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel! Excellent location. We most definitely will be back. Drag brunch was super fun as well!

Cons:

Our room was on the 2nd floor and over looked the dining area. The "view" was nothing to look at but it didn't bother us as we just went up to the rooftop bar a lot.

It’s a beautiful place to relax in the roof and watch the sunset and have a cocktail serve tea by a waiter
Pros:

The staff made my stay very fun. They were friendly treated me very kindly.

Cons:

What I didn’t like was not on the property. It was the surrounding area has lots of construction not much you can do about that.

Great except for the downgraded room.
Pros:

The location, staff and appearance were great.

Cons:

My Booking.com reservation clearly showed a Deluxe King Room was reserved. Tryst did not honor this. They stated that my room was a normal King and would not honor what I had purchased and upgraded to on Booking.com
