A great time at a beautifully designed hotel with very kind staff (and lots of drag queens!)
Pros:

We really loved the Tryst so much. This was our 8th time in PV (we go every year) and we've always stayed on the Pinnacle properties on the hill - we learned of the Tryst and decided to give it a try as we wanted some place with more gay people. It blew us out of the water. From the beautifully designed rooms, to the filtered water stations, the complimentary welcome drinks, and the free beverages in the fridge. We loved the 24/7 room service - the Tryst Leches was incredible. We also loved that they had multiple events on the property from the Daddy event, the Drag Brunch, and the great DJ's they brought in. You have done an incredible job!

Cons:

The only thing we were not a fan of was the housekeeping. They did a great job (they did nothing wrong, please don't punish them) but I think there was confusion on when they arrive each day. There was one day they didn't come and I think it might have been because we didn't put the sign on the door. Then we put the sign on the door and they still tried to come while we were in bed. We told them 1-hour and they came back five minutes later, and then 20 minutes later. I think they may not have spoken english well and just simply didn't know what we were saying (which is perfectly fine because we were in Mexico after all and they shouldn't have to speak english.) Maybe it might be a good idea to add Spanish to the door hangers somewhere to help our Spanish speaking friends?

An overall luxury gay experience in PV
Pros:

I truly cannot say enough great things about The Tryst. We were there during the cartel-related unrest and ended up staying inside the hotel for two straight days. Despite the circumstances, we could not have been better cared for. The incredible staff worked double and even triple shifts without a single lapse in service — their dedication was beyond impressive.

The hotel’s thoughtful, beautiful design made staying in feel like a retreat rather than a confinement. Every detail feels intentional and custom-designed to create a space that is both relaxing and energizing.

They had more than enough food to accommodate everyone, and the quality remained remarkably high — especially impressive given the situation and even by Puerto Vallarta standards.

It was certainly a memorable stay, to say the least. The Tryst is truly a wonderful gay getaway, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and hospitality we received.

Cons:

There is absolutely nothing that I did not like about this hotel....would love to have a gym at some point and I had heard that this was being planned....

Breath of fresh air
Pros:

I had an exceptional time at this hotel. The space was so beautiful and the rooftop was absolutely phenomenal. The service was quite good, especially in the courtyard restaurant. All of the guests seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves.

Great hotel with a few minor glitches.
Pros:

Great location. Quiet room. Pleasant staff. Rooftop pool and restaurant were nice.

Cons:

No storage in room. Phone in room never worked, so we had to text for any requests. Ceiling fans in room could not be adjusted properly.
