The hotel changed my room from a confirmed King to a two bed twin because they say I didn't use the Hilton web site to book. This action is BS as I had already paid for the room. No change in price was ever offered.
This impacts how I consider Hilton and future recommendations!
The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Check-in went well. A free complimentary breakfast is always nice. I have a gluten disorder. There was a few options that I was able to eat. I would like to see just a few more cereal options that are gluten free.
Parking! If you go out and return late, there is a chance you may not get a parking spot. The AC and heating unit was very noisy. The mattress was a little too hard and flat. It made it very hard for me to get a good night sleep. Overall, the stay was nice.
Convenience
Bathroom could’ve been cleaner
The staff was very nice
I hated the facility there was no place to hang your clothes to put your clothes in a drawer there was no microwave in the room there was no coffee pots in the room and the snacks were very expensive for this amount of money this place should have been stocked with everything you need in a room I have never been in a hotel like this before and I would never visit another Tru Hotel not even me and my family it was horrible to me to come in and not even have only but one chair in the room had to constantly sit on your bed the room was very clean very neat but the things that you needed in a room was not there y'all need to fix this cuz this is horrible. When people travel they would like to have the Necessities that they need in a place and not have to keep going downstairs to get a cup of coffee and y'all need to take the prices down because it was not worth it at all.
The location was really great and the place was clean however I was very disappointed in the fact that they soaked dispenser in my room had mold around it and the AC took a very long time to get cold.
AC took forever to get old and the soap was dirty and empty upon my arrival.
Everything was so nice
Nothing everything was great
Room design and setup . Breakfast was great for the value. LOVED the new pancake machine.
More baggage carriers at front lobby.
Good location. Great water pressure.
Bed was not very comfortable. Room was not very spacious.
The location was good, and the hotel lobby was clean. That is as far as we got because they canceled our rooms
I booked rooms weeks in advance through Booking.com, which stated: “pay when you arrive.” I keep my cards locked and received a call the morning of arrival from a number that appeared as “Bank of America” (I don’t bank with them), so I didn’t answer because it looked like spam. Later the hotel told me they had attempted to charge my card and canceled our reservation when they couldn't reach us. We arrived to find the hotel fully booked. Thankfully, Marriott had rooms available, and their staff was incredibly kind; we stayed there for three days (two rooms) at about $1,100.
This experience was very stressful and inconvenient. If a property charges cards before arrival, that should be clearly disclosed at booking. Because of this, I will not be staying at Tru by Hilton again.
The location was great and we felt safe. The breakfast was good also. The initial front desk clerk, Je’Von, was very professional, welcoming, and patient.
There was a dead bug I discovered while cleaning after we checked in. I reported it, showing it to the front desk staff and I left my contact info for the manager to contact me. No one called me to follow up. We also reported a slow draining sink, we were told that someone from maintenance would be notified. No one contacted us.
I did not observe any additional insects.
On the last night some of the guests were so loud that they interrupted my sleep. I texted the front desk. No one responded. About a half hour later, I called the front desk, the gentleman who answered seemed annoyed saying that he had sent someone to check on my complaint, but did not observe any guests that were loud. The noise continued and then finally stopped around 1 :30. My family and I decided to get up and check out.
Once downstairs, I observed the same person I conversed with on his cellphone discussing his digital content. I feel like he didn’t fully address my concerns, because of he allowed his personal life to interfere with his work. I cannot prove that, but that is the impression I get…
Hotel was nice and clean but a little on the pricey side .staff was very friendly and answered questions.
Price was high for one night booked weeks ahead of time
Ok
