Cons:

The cost of parking and limited space should be made clear prior to booking. I felt this was misrepresented in the hotel advertising. The shower lacked sufficient water pressure to be able to properly wash long hair. The bedroom decor was very basic and not to the standard expected.

More a less everything drinks were a little expensive and some of the food wasn't nice but mainly all great .

Disappointing for the four star rating.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

It was very tired looking for a four star. Bedroom and bathroom felt very unloved - bed didn’t feel well made, chips in the bathroom, bathroom felt dated and furniture very dated. An awful lot of building work was taking place which we had not been alerted to.

Economical and great for a One Night Stay
Pros:

This is our third stay at the Cumberland. Conveniently located within walking distance or a quick uber ride into town.
Undergoing refurbishment but we were not in the least affected and had a well appointed side room on the first floor. The room was a good size well equipped and well lit (stayed in loads of hotels where the rooms are too dark to apply makeup!!) We used the leisure facilities next door and had breakfast the following morning which was a good selection of hot food and cold. Shout out to the night staff who accommodated us with a night cap at 3.00 AM, much appreciated.

Nice hotel with some caveats...
Pros:

Prime location in bournemouth. Nice hotel with good facilities , friendly staff , large room.with balcony , needs new carpets and a paint job throughout to take it to another level , was good value for money overall.

Cons:

On site parking impossible as so full. Which is OK because street parking charges right outside the hotel are less than the price the hotel wants to charge. In this case I saved £7 by not using the parking space that they weren't able to provide.

Serious gymgoers beware. The gym is actually in another hotel, swimming pool , squash courts all great and an excellent sauna. For the rest there are some cardio machines, good ones. For the rest they dumped a pile of very small weights in a corner..literally...along with a deflated exercise ball....

So considering my two main priorities in a hotel are parking facilties and the fitness centre, this is disappointing

Disappointing, was expecting much more from a 4stars hotel. Not worth the money.
Pros:

The room was nice and clean

Cons:

Poor facilities. We were expecting much better. The staff of the spa which is located in another hotel next to Cumberland is not welcoming at all.
