L'Ottava Goccia Country House

We originally booked L’Ottava Goccia for three nights and ended up staying a fourth, that says it all. This place has a truly special soul. It carries a unique and thoughtful character, where every detail reflects the heart and dedication of its owners. There is a beautiful wabi-sabi feeling here, an imperfect perfection that makes the space human, warm, and real.
The design feels organic and evolving, like a living space that continues to grow. Above all, you can feel the love for the place and the sincere care for the guests in every corner.
Roberto and his son Andrea speak excellent English, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. The dinners they prepared were delicious, served with soft music in the background beside the crackling fireplace where our dog peacefully rested.
We left the place with a warm feeling, energized to continue our vacation in Italy.

Un lieu idyllique à recommander à tous et toutes. C'était parfait. Nous avons diné à l'Ottawa Goccia, tout était délicieux. Le calme et l'accueil chaleureux, sans parler de la déco et du terrain, de la piscine.. le paradis. A refaire !!!!

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit im l’Ottava Goccia Country House. Die Unterkunft ist einfach besonders – mit so viel Liebe im Detail.
Das Frühstück ist lecker mit sehr hochwertigern Produkten, abends gibt es immer ein Menü. Wünsche werden gerne erfüllt und das Team ist sehr herzlich, man fühlt sich willkommen.
Der Pool ist schön und die Lage perfekt. Ruhig, in 20 Minuten ist man am Meer, in 5 Minuten im nächsten Städtchen. Es gibt drumherum viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
Uns hat es sehr gefallen – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es absolut weiterempfehlen!

L'Ottava Goccia non è solo un agriturismo, è una famiglia. Annarita e Maria hanno un modo di colloquiare gentile, alla mano e mai invadente, hanno a cuore il loro progetto e riescono a trasmetterlo.
Il casale immerso nel verde è molto suggestivo e la piscina è la ciliegina sulla torta per chi vuole rilassarsi. L'aria che si respira è di pace, tranquillità e leggerezza.
Il ristorante è in linea con le proprietarie, propongono piatti semplici che ricordano la cucina di casa, con verdure dell'orto e formaggi di produttori locali.

Soggiorno rigenerante: immersi nel silenzio della natura, coccolati da Maria che ha soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza facendoci sentire in famiglia.
La camera molto confortevole dove ogni angolo era curato nei minimi particolari.
Piscina in pietra immersa nel verde, molto caratteristica.
Originale l'idea della vendita degli oggetti antichi che arredavano l ambiente affinché potessero "vivere" altre vite.
Cibo squisito proveniente direttamente dal loro orto.
Maria sicuramente torneremo!

Ottima location

Fin dalle prime immagini viste su Booking e dai primi contatti telefonici, ho avuto il sentore che sarebbe stato un magnifico weekend presso l'Ottava goccia. Anna Rita, Maria le loro stupende famiglie e l'itero staff ci hanno fatto sentire veramente come se fossimo a casa nostra, permettendoci di soggiornare in un piccolo angolo di paradiso e facendoci assaggiare tutti i loro buonissimi prodotti artigianali. Ogni ingrediente presente nel piatto proviene dal loro orto, ed è una esplosione di sapore assicurata. La struttura, completamente immersa nel verde ed a pochi minuti da Tolfa, è dotata di ogni comfort ed allestita con gusto e cura di ogni dettaglio. Trovandoci in zona per attività astrofotografiche (da li il cielo è limpido, e si vede molto bene la via lattea per chi fosse interessato a questo genere di attività) abbiamo avuto anche modo di condividere qualche ora di notte insieme sotto le stelle per ammirare le meraviglie del cielo notturno. Meravigliosi anche il soro socievoli cani che ci hanno tenuto compagnia fino all'alba. Torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi quanto prima per far provare la magia dell'Ottava goccia anche alle nostre famiglie. In una parola "Eccezionale".

Amazing restoration of an old monastery done in a beautiful and very clever way using old techniques and finished with antique furniture if the time. Awesome pool.

Thoroughly recommend staying here. Our hosts were lovely and made us feel very relaxed and at home. They also spoke excellent English. The home cooked food was superb, topped off with some lovely wine. If you are looking for a relaxing rural stay in Italy this was fab.

What a peaceful place to stay. The two women that run this property are very hard working and assure that your stay is comfortable. Had a beautiful view of the sunrise every morning. This is a great place to stay… only an hour from Rome, but far away enough to avoid the crowd.. Also, I’ve been in Italy for 3 weeks now, and their home cooked meal for lunch and dinner was the best food I’ve had in Italy so far.
