Great character house
Room was clean but a bit tired
Lovely hotel, great breakfast, very pleasant staff lovely big room, well equipped
Dinner could have been better, menu is minimal in choice, felt as though we were sidelined a little because they had a party of people at the same time, dinner is a little basic ie and no special board is available, breakfast is good but dinner requires a bit more attention considering the price

Everything! Lovely location. Beautiful room (especially the family room which my daughter, son-in-law and two children occupied), characterful building, exceptionally clean and excellent staff. Even the weather was perfect!

Air conditioning unit in our room was easy to work and extremely responsive unlike those in many other hotels we have stayed in.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay.
A small point. Given that the hotel was not terribly busy, the service in the restaurant and bar was a little leisurely at times but this did not change how much we enjoyed our stay.

Superb evening meal and breakfast.
The only point I didn't see on the booking or informed was that when dinner is included, it actually limits you to £35 pp - not a major issue as the food was exceptional anyway...more a small point.
We had a fantastic stay , the staff were brilliant they looked after us all day and night and the morning after the breakfast was superb.
