Stay in class in UNESCO heritage boutique hotel, an oasis from the bustle of Chandni Chowk.
Pros:

The deluxe hotel a beautifully restored, UNESCO heritage hotel located amidst the chaotic charm of Chandni Chowk. Walking distance to the Jama Masjid mosque and the Red Fort. Breakfast and dinner are well prepared and delicious.

Cons:

The room have blinds pulled down but there are still gaps which cannot ensure total privacy.

Lovely stay and wonderful staff
Pros:

The staff was wonderful in helping us get to and from the hotel, as it is not directly accessible by car. The food was great, and the rooms are quite spacious and clean.

Cons:

We did not realise that the hotel has two separate buildings, so we stayed in the one that is a couple of minutes’ walk from the main building. It was an equally beautiful building, it just meant walking down to the main building for breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful historic building. Amazing food and staff. Interesting evening entertainment -dancing and kite flying.

Cons:

Location is slightly unnerving on arrival -no car access so you are met and accompanied on foot through narrow lanes.

Pros:

Todo perfecto, la música en vivo, los bailes, las instalaciones son preciosas, está muy bien renovado y el personal es muy amable! Te llevan y te acompañan por viejo dehli y todos hablan perfectamente inglés. Yo tuve un problema con un taxista y el manager del hotel me ayudó a calmarme y a gestionarlo todo! Incluso me llamó para ver si estaba bien y si había llegado bien. Este tipo de trato es 10/10 en atención al huésped

Cons:

Leí varios comentarios sobre la ubicación, pero no ha nada de que preocuparse, en el hotel te ayudan a llegar a cualquier parte y te acompañan a cualquier hora. Ya que no se puede llegar con coche al ser una zona peatonal.

Beware street side room 301; staff need to remember that people are sleeping
Pros:

Loved this beautifully renovated historic haveli. Our stay would have been perfect in every way if not for the room we were given. Dinner was great. Service exception. Kite flying activity nice too. Loved the rooftop and authentic experience in old Delhi.

Cons:

Even though we booked almost a year ago, we were moved from Haveli Dharumpura to golden Haveli which honestly would have been fine if we did not end up being given the worst of the 8-10 rooms in Golden Haveli. 4 windows to the street, 3 to the courtyard and two large glass windows covered with a shade to the hall right across from the reception with a worker who talked and shouted to security and others nonstop. Night one slept 4 hours with earplugs before the morning noise started at 6:00 am. It was like pitching a tent in the streets of old Delhi. I actually was not annoyed at the dogs barking nor the motorcycles nor the other people arriving. I was very annoyed at 11:30pm at the employee that seems to have not a care in the world that people were trying to sleep. There was a couple across the way from us on non-street side of first floor also out in courtyard unable to sleep at 11:30pm. Bottom line - they give the best rooms regardless to tour groups. People who book independently received rooms 301 and 302 - the noisiest. I would go again, but I would only stay higher up. They did move us on night two without us asking and second night was quiet and wonderful. If not for this, we would have had an amazing stay. loved the staff and facility. Room 301 should only be for last minute bookings when nothing else available.

Haveli emozionante nel centro della vecchia Dehli
Pros:

Splendido hotel nella Old Dheli, raggiungibile solamente a piedi ma in posizione strategica per raggiungere Chandni Chowk da una parte o il Forte Rosso dall'altra. E' una haveli perfettamente restaurata, lussuosa, ricca di iniziative, dagli spettacoli di musica o di danza al volo degli aquiloni: tutti i giorni dalle 16.30 alle 17.30 puoi goderti sul roof top assaporandoti un aperitivo lo spettacolo degli aquiloni che riempiono il cielo di Dehli provando a farli volare anche tu stesso...esperienza molto gradita offerta dall'hotel (l'aperitivo non è incluso). Anche il ristorante nel cortile della haveli è molto bello e ricco di piatti indiani elaborati. Nello stesso cortile si fa anche la colazione, varia, ricca e buona. Il personale è molto attento e gentile. Le camere sono pulitissime. Assolutamente consigliabile (anche se un po' più caro di altri hotel storici di altre città, come a Jaipur).

Mooi historisch kader maar ontbijt kon uitgebreider en de kamerprijs was te hoog voor dit hotel.
Pros:

De locatie is top omdat het in de nabijheid is van de Jama Masjid moskee en ook het Red Fort en de bazaar Chandni Chowk bevinden is allemaal op wandelafstand. Ondanks het drukke en rumoerige Old Delhi is de locatie van het hotel in een klein steegje uitermate rustig zonder storend straatlawaai. Het is fijn dineren op het binnenplein van de Haveli en de keuken serveert lekkere gerechten.

Cons:

Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding viel dit hotel toch wel behoorlijk tegen. Het ontbijt was eerder beperkt. We wisten dat de kamergrootte vrij klein uitviel maar het bed was in verhouding veel te groot. Beter zou zijn om een iets kleiner 2-persoonsbed te voorzien en nog een extra vuilnisemmertje of een bureautje op de kamer te plaatsen. De kamers waren vrij gehorig (van gasten en personeel die aanwezig waren in de Haveli, er waren geen geluiden van de straat hoorbaar.)

Beautiful Haveli in Old Delhi
Pros:

Good location in the centre of Old Delhi, beautiful building sympathetically restored.
Staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Cons:

The rooms at the front were very noisy, dogs barking throughout the night. Not good if you have mobility issues as a walk from where taxis can drop you off

Breakfast was at another location and was very good. We had an excellent lunch there too. The waiters were very friendly.

It is a bit difficult to take an uber from there since it is located on a tiny street which does not have room for cars.

Super experience dans ce quartier bien vivant de Chandni Chowk
Pros:

l'hotel est très beau avec une ambiance particulière, le service très pro et chaleureux , les chambres sont très confortables , nous étions au Golden haveli "l'annexe" , encore une belle réalisation. l'hotel se situe dans une des ruelles de de Chandni Chowk avec son ambiance si particulière, il est idéalement placé .le petit déjeuner est convenable. l'hotel est bien sécurisé.

Cons:

Nous avions pris l'option de diner au restaurant de l'hotel avec la soirée kathak performance.
c'est décevant le spectacle dure 5 mns et revient trois fois dans la soirée.il se situe aux premier étage et le diner est au rez-de-chaussée . Le temps de monter et le spectacle est presque terminé. pour ce qui est du menu du chef c'est basique sans surprise et de qualité très moyenne. le service est express on a pas le temps de profiter du lieux qui est magnifique , au prix pratiqué c'est un piège à touriste.
