Our booking was cancelled and we had to stay at another hotel instead.
Pros:

The location and the helpfulness of the staff.

Cons:

Our rooms were cancelled while we were on the way to the hotel, either by the hotel or through the booking.com. We called when we were waiting in Shanghai Airport to say we were arriving but late due to a flight delay and while we were in the plane, a message was sent through Booking.com to ask about our booking, which I might add, was a confirmed stage and yet, our rooms were cancelled, not through our fault. Very bad situation for us as you might know as we managed to arrive at Atour past midnight due to the flight delay.

No smoking in the rooms
Pros:

The room was spacious and clean.

Cons:

We had to ask for a change of room as the first one had a strong smell of the previous occupants smoking inside the room even though it was a non-smoking one.

Friendly service from check in to departure
Pros:

The place is clean and comfortable, but I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were, especially Wan Chen who patiently assisted me with direction of places I needed to go, helped to order my ride and even go out of her way to speak to the driver just to make sure everything's ok. Thanks again Wan Chen 😊
