Super Hotel mit hervorragendem Service

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Urbana. Das Hotel hat grosse Zimmer und eine grandiose Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war perfekt. Das Personal ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Pool im 7. Obergeschoss mit Bar ist ein Highlight. Beim Check out wurden wir früh morgens von einem Taxiservice abgeholt. Der Mitarbeiter in der Lobby hat ohne Aufforderung den Taxifahrer nach der Buchung gefragt und alles auf Richtigkeit geprüft. Das gibt einem ein gutes Gefühl bezüglich Sicherheit. Ein sehr toller Aufenthalt. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Der Teppich müsste teilweise ersetzt werden. Da aber alles sehr sauber war kann man damit leben.

Do not book this hotel - 100% worst hotel in bangkok

The pool - that’s it.

Cons:

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I stayed here for 10 days, and every single day was disappointing.

The nightmare started at check-in. The manager told me there was a “mistake” on Booking.com and that the room I booked was actually more expensive. Somehow, they expected me to deal with their mistake. If you choose to partner with Booking.com, your pricing errors are your responsibility—not the customer’s. They claimed they emailed me about it, but I never received anything. Completely unprofessional.

To make things worse, they gave me a dark, depressing room that looked nothing like what I expected. The shower barely worked, and taking a proper shower became frustrating every single day.

Then came the missing parcel. I had a package delivered to the hotel, and the staff couldn’t even tell me whether they had received it or not. How can a hotel lose track of guests’ deliveries? The staff acted clueless and showed no urgency whatsoever.

As a Booking.com guest, I was eligible for a late check-out benefit. Instead, they only gave me an extra 30 minutes to pack and leave, claiming the hotel was fully booked—which I honestly find hard to believe. Yet they were quick to warn me that if I stayed even a minute longer, I’d be charged 1,000 THB. Because of that ridiculous policy, I checked out early before noon just to avoid being ripped off.

The customer service throughout my stay was cold, unfriendly, and completely lacking in hospitality. No one seemed interested in helping guests or resolving problems.

And to top it all off, the hotel had an incredibly creepy atmosphere. It genuinely felt haunted. Strange noises at night, an eerie vibe in the hallways, and an overall unsettling feeling made it impossible to relax. Instead of enjoying my vacation, I spent my nights feeling uncomfortable and on edge.

I absolutely regret staying here. There are so many better hotels in Bangkok that actually care about their guests.
