It was a pleasant stay

New Delhi's finest
Pros:

The staff are superb! The reception is friendly and professional. The breakfast staff are kind, welcoming and very helpful. The room was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. We slept very well.

Cons:

I would definitely go back because I enjoyed it so much but there were a couple minor issues. The pool/pool area was not in service - this was an important reason for choosing the hotel, to get over jetlag for a few days. Check to confirm the pool will be available for your dates. A second minor issue was that the reception made the room charge credit card pre-authorization in my home currency instead of INR, this made the room about $10 more expensive daily. Request that any pre-athorizations or payments be done only in INR currency.

Terrible- I checked out when there was no pool
Pros:

The room was nice enough although it smelt a bit damp

Cons:

We booked specifically for a pool- it is currently under maintenance and wasn’t available! Even when checking in I asked where the pool was located and they advised but still didn’t inform me it wasn’t working! I received a full refund however first the hotel manager said I could stay the first night free of charge until my friend arrived (the next day) then when I was having problems finding a hotel nearby at short notice they said I would have to pay they offered to book a taxi at my own expense. Appalling service for a world renowned hotel chain. Do not stay there!
