On the positive side, location excellent proximity to the beach, staff were friendly. That being said there is a great deal of construction which is being undertaken and therefore debris. Rooms we had were in need of much repair and a coat of pain. Ceiling in our kitchen was dripping and when the attendant came to look at it said he would be back and did not return. Our daughters room had no hot water. Appliances are well worn and ill kept. Be prepared to pay at least $15-$20 additional for each day for use of electricity (which is not disclosed when you rent through expedia). I am sure it was a vwry nice place in its heyday but today very tired and I would not go back.
This property is dirty , no hot water to bath , broken leaking toilet. The rooms were not clean and the beds sheets were not changed for 3 days before we decided to leave and lodge in another facility which cost us tremendous amount of money.The entrance road to the property is muddy , smells suer with an ongoing noisy construction. No hand towels to bathroom or kitchen; hand soap for bathrooms I had to request. No broom or pail to sweep the sandy floors. The property is very poorly maintained.
Our room had a nice balcony with a great ocean view. The property could have been really nice if owners bothered to keep it updated. Toilet tank ran, faucet dripped, some light switches didn’t work, tv and cable not hooked up, internet failed for 2 days, noisy party house across the road, no hand soap, no paper towels, no dish cloths, mismatched cutlery. Lots of noisy construction all around. Wouldn’t ever go back here. To be honest, didn’t like the hustle culture in Punta Cana. I guess DR really is a third world country.
Our family enjoyed our Villa, but it was not quite what we were expecting based on the pictures and reviews on Expedia. I'd check on Google reviews for a more realistic account. Overall though, if you're looking for a decent area for a cheap price and care more about the beach, this place will do. Not happy about the "electricity fee," and security deposit we did not get back, but like I said, it was an okay place. Roll the dice and find out!
It was the worst hotel experience ever. I booked a villa for 7 days at Los Corales Villas and Suites (LCVS). The photos were nice, and the price was reasonable. I received a note from the property that guests should post via WhatsApp before arrival. I sent the message the Tuesday before our arrival with no response. On Saturday, I resent the message. LCVS responded with a request for arrival time and provided a photo of the invoice, which had substantially increased. My response to that was forwarded to Los Corales Beach Village. They informed me that LCVS had canceled the original booking and passed it on to them. They had also moved us from a villa to a “beautiful two bedroom with no adjustment to the price. I was also informed they wanted to be paid in cash upon arrival – who does that? Upon arrival, the property's general appearance left the impression that severely limited-budget travelers used it. They showed us two rooms – neither was acceptable by any standard. In one case, we had to step over construction debris and trash to enter the room. After a heated exchange with the two men at reception we refused to stay. One man at reception escorted us to LCVS. There, we were told that Expedia/Hotels.com had canceled the reservation. This did not jibe with the messages and responses we had received earlier. The claim appears to have been a poor attempt at passing the buck and getting us to leave. We did. We departed LCVS without accommodation.
The only good thing was that we were literally right on the beach other than that i would not recommend this place

This "property" is a collection of properties, so you will get what they have, not what is shown in pictures (on Expedia or Maps). When you check Maps, the play on words "Los Corales Beach" is used to confuse and bait customers. Our first unit had windows that did not open, no fresh air, 20 year old mattress with stains and thread-bare sheet, no mattress pads, a rusted stove, dirty drawers and dishes, filthy floors. My child had an asthma attack the first night due to filth and dust. They "cleaned" the next day, which wasn't much.
They "switched" us to another unit when we said we needed to be able to breathe fresh air: the screens were full of holes and we were all bitten by mosquitoes and gnats; we had no choice because the AC was broken and soaked the mattress so it was sleep in a hot box or get bites. We lasted one night. We asked for a refund and they refused. We asked for the remaining nights to be refunded since we wouldn't be there, they refused.
We learned, when you book through Exp, they will "try" to help, but not really. They are a "tech provider" and the property is your provider, so your agreement is with them. If they refuse to refund, too bad, you've lost your money. The staff tried, but clearly not able to help when their product is awful.
We left $1500 in their pockets and went to another place and paid again, just to get out of there before the bugs got us.
Stay well away from these unscrupulous places.

The place did not meet expectations based upon product description. We booked 6 nights. We left after 2 nights. Serious lack of repair and upkeep.
Property manager was nice, location near beach was great, but that is the only good i can say about the property.
I would love a return for the 4 nights we did not stay there , but i realize that it is unlikely.
I booked this hotel for one night. There wasn't any info that the front desk closes at 11pm, I booked the room at that time and was there by 11:30 to not being able to check in. Now I am trying to get a refund and nobody is helping me. I would highly recommend not using this venue as they should be making strides to refund my money due to a lack of communication.
Everything was wonderful and I cannot wish anything better. From the moment of meeting the driver at the airport until the moment of departure. Everything was wonderful.

The pictures online show a very nice hotel by the beach. It’s actually a poorly maintained condominium (or the like), near a public beach. Entry was *through* a construction site, dirty with construction materials lying around. (We picked up a screw in one of our tires.) The manage’s office was down a narrow, dirt alley. The office is only open limited hours. The fellow who checked us in was nice enough.
Our “garden room” was right next door to the office, right on the alley, with a small patch of grass, a few plants, and a view of the dirt alley and building across from us, It’s charity to call it a garden.
The room was uncomfortable. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was so small, you couldn’t turn around, and the bathroom door was rotted from the bottom.
When we left the next morning, the gate to the alley, for which we didn’t have a pass card, was down. The manager wasn’t there to open it, so I had to carry our luggage back up the dirt road to load it into the car. In the construction site.
We were given a chit to a nearby restaurant, which had the least appealing mangú I’d ever had.
We have pictures documenting this. Except the mangú. You’ll have to take my word on that.
Wonderful location and great value for the money! Everything was much more better than we were expected.
Convenient location with easy parking, the Place was nice. The service also was pleasant, Local people are friendly.
We like Punta Cana and we will come there again. This location gave us all we needed, our vacation was comfortable. The service has exceeded our expectations.

It was last moment decision to book this property, and I’m happy with my choice. She was super fast and then from desk staff was friendly. The person deserved better than pictured!
We did not have much time to enjoy this resort, but our vacation was comfortable. Local people were so friendly and helpful. Maybe one day we will book it again.
