Hakuna Matata Resort Gili Air

We loved spending a few days in this resort. Incredible kindness from staff especially the manager! Everything was perfect.

We loved it all! Thank you so much Nora and Benny for looking after us so well. We wish we could come back ASAP! This is a hidden gem on the island Gili Air.of

The room was very clean. There were some mosquitos in the room but we had a mosquito net which was very new and clean. Nice location right in front of the sunset. Every day cleaning. We got beach towels. The laundry was very good. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming.

Bellissima struttura fronte mare. Consigliata totalmente. Se andate non dimenticatevi di donare un po’ di cibo per i gatti. La proprietaria ne cura 15 e ogni piccolo aiuto è prezioso.

Everything about Hakuna Matata is exceptional. Comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. The location is ideal for a couple's getaway on Gili Air. Their restaurant offers a delicious way to start each morning.

If you want a chill, a stay at Hakuna Matata is the place to be. The rooms are gorgeous and cleaned daily. The resort restaurant's sunset views are super nice and their sushi rolls and cocktails are really good. Definitely book this if you’re trying to do a romantic trip with your partner.

The staff were kind and ready to help with anything. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and very clean. To top it all off, their restaurant Hakuna Sushi Fusion delivered a great Japanese-Asian dining and cocktail experience.

Très bon hôtel très bien placé

Nous avons passé deux nuits très agréables.
Les chambres sont dans des bâtiments très originaux en bois, avec la salle de bain à l’extérieur et une petite terrasse extérieur avec canapé à l’entrée. Je les décoration sur le thème Afrique.
La piscine est petite mais très agréable.
Tout le petit Resort (12 chambres je crois au total) sont un peu en retrait de la plage.
Le restaurant de l’hôtel est top pour prendre un verre pour les couchers de soleil (tarifs élevés).
Je recommande l’expérience !

We had a great stay at Hakuna Matata, we liked the location on the quieter side of the island with just a few meters walk to the beachfront, and around 20 mins walk from the harbour/busier areas. Staff were friendly and happy to help, and as a cat lover I enjoyed getting to know the resort kitties! Nora helped us to organise our boat and car transfer to Lombok which was very smooth and on time with a boat pickup right on the beach in front of the property, so I would recommend the hotel-organised transport if needed.

Location. Bed super comfortable as were pillows. Beautifully presented with flowers. Lovely bathroom.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön gestaltet. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Lage am Strand hat uns sehr gefallen. Die kleinen Terrassen bieten eine tolle Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns bei all unseren Aliegen unterstützt. Wir empfehlen es weiter!

Tout était parfait, petit + pour la piscine et l’accès direct à la plage !

Les petites cabanes étaient très mignonnes et bien pensées. La salle de bain extérieure avait son charme (mais aussi l'inconvénient des moustiques).
Ils prêtaient sac de plage et chapeau ce qui était agréable.
Laundry à 25k/kg prête dans la journée.
