Central to amenities
Lift was very slow
Clean
Shower was not powerful and small shower head.
Location,,staff were very friendly and extremely helpful
Rooms were very clean but a little dated , but for the price and close location to town centre I'd recommend and stay again
Bed was comfy. Breakfast decent
At first we thought the room was just dated. It was actually filthy. Stains on bed sheet. Marks on every wall. Mould and scum around bath
Great location and nice food 🥘
Needs more parking space
Clean and fairly comfortable .
Shower over bath not ideal for everyone.
Good for overnight stay
Ecerthing was good
The staff were excellent, very helpful
The restaurant / pub is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious.
We booked an accessible room, which was accessible in that you could get a wheelchair in there, and the bathroom sink was low. There are hand rails around the toilet, but it is very low, lower than a wheelchair seat, so it would make transferring very difficult. However, this was clear from the photos, and as we were only staying one night so we knew what we were getting, but I would not class this as truly accessible. Apparently, the hotel is soon to be refurbished, and it would be great if they could make the accessible bathrooms more like wet rooms with showers as a bath with shower head is not ideal.
If they make the hotel like the pub it will be lovely
Not that far from the town centre 5 -10 min walk
Bed could of been comfy and noticed the day we were leaving side of mattress was dirty
Location was fine brekfest was fine
Think rooms and bathrooms need upgrading
The accessible rooms were not accessible
They had a bath that my 84 year old grandmother could not get in
Accessible room should be a wet room. No one with a disability or anyone in a wheelchair would be able to use the bathroom
Close to town
Was in need of a little TLC, toilet was a tough flush, handle was lose & kept falling off. Cobwebs around walls& ceilings, general cleanliness.
Nothing
Rude staff
Blood stained tissues in the drawers and bed sheets
Location - the pub restaurant is very good
The room was not cleaned in 3 days
Great location, good size room
Heating didn't work, the bath had chips out of the enamel and the shower was almost impossible to get to right temperature ( not thermostatic) all looks a bit tired. Room is big, to the point it needs more furniture. TV didn't work properly.
