Lovely stay at a special mountain retreat
Pros:

Super comfy hotel, felt very luxurious, beautiful room and grounds.

Cons:

One staff member seemed to be a bit indifferent, either because of le sexism or because I was there by myself (my friend was at a different hotel). He gave me a room in the corner of the dining room, and left me waiting to check out for ten min., when I needed to leave. The other staff members I dealt with, all women, were great.

We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
Pros:

Quaint hotel and amazing views. Dinner served on site and it was so incredible, farm to table freshness. Breakfast was typical French (too many breads, pastries for our liking) but you can request eggs. The grounds are beautiful and we had one day where we relaxed by the pool for a couple of hours. The hotel is adjacent to the small village of Viscos.
This area is where the Tour de France comes through. The Tourmaley is about a 45 min drive with incredible views (if you get a sunny day and it’s not fogged in).
We’d definitely stay here again in a minute! It’s a bit remote (10-15 minute drive to Luz St. Lauveur) but that’s its charm.

Cons:

There’s really nothing that we would have changed - perhaps more toiletries (like lotion, conditioner) in the bathroom but that’s minor.

Excellente restauration tant au niveau du petit déjeuner que du dîner. Un plat signature, la garbure, préparé dans la parfaite tradition.

Cons:

Nous sommes arrivés l'après-midi.
Il faisait froid dans la chambre ainsi que dans la salle de bain qui est restée froide le soir et le matin malgré le chauffage.
