Below expectation
Pros:

1. Food quality was poor and a long wait 2. Room Phone wasn’t working so we had to go to reception multiple times. 3. Hotel was not Upto mark vs rate charged. We stayed at two 5 star hotels in Gangtok at cheaper rate. They increased the rate post us requesting a change & after cancellation date was past. Hotel told us they would have given us cheaper but for booking.com & when we reached out to booking.com they said hotel increased the rate. For us basis facility, food and experience, I would say they charged us twice and we felt cheated. Never had this experience with any hotel across the globe and we travel a lot and stay at luxury hotels.

Pros:

Comfortable rooms with a great view of the mountains. The room was temperature controlled. They packed breakfast for us as we had to leave early although it was mediocre. The food was good at dinner.

Cons:

Mediocre packed breakfast. A lot of problems with the heater in one room which was inconvenient as the water is very cold.
