Very generous breakfast with wide range of options
Lovely evening meals
Immaculately clean and a delicious breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Will definitely return to this beautiful hidden gem in a gorgeous village which is close to lots of great sight seeing locations. Ideal for walkers and cyclists
Nothing
Susan the housekeeper looked after us for the whole week, she is brilliant, a lovely lady, so helpful, she ensured that we had the best possible stay.
We had the largest room, it was a home from home.
The freshly made daily breakfast was ace, it certainly sets you up for the day.
There is a country pub at the end of the building, it's ran separately from the B&B, but as everyone gets on so well they all do all they can to make you feel welcome, we popped to the pub most days, Lyndsey, Gavin and the team work hard to ensure ever visit is special.
Nothing.
The welcome from Susan. Enjoyed sitting at the communal table for breakfast. The B&B house has been recently renovated to a good standard. We loved the poetry art work around the place. Good quality bedding was appreciated too.
The en-suite was very small . Ours was a standard room so I assume other rooms maybe more spacious.
We loved this property it was beautifully decorated and well furnished. Food in the pub/restaurant was delicious and the breakfast in the B&B was excellent! Could not fault the staff! Would highly recommend!
Lovely owners, fantastic room
No complaints
Beautiful location, very friendly staff, great breakfast
All good.
The staff were very friendly
There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room. only one hand towel between two people. the booking.com site said the restaurant was open during our stay, the confirmation after paying said it was closed, this is against the comsumer rights act 2015, I will be finding the booking.com UK address and suing the the company.
Lovely venue with comfortable clean rooms. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast.
Nothing
Superb location , nice breakfast. Exceptional staff
Slightly further away than I expected as I was travelling south the next day. Not to worry though, it’s located in a national park so what is there not to like about that !
Staff were really friendly and the accommodation was spotless. Conveniently located next to a lovely pub.
Susan, Helen and the rest of the team are extremely good at what they do, we felt at home from the minute we arrived despite the power cut caused by Storm Amy. Our dogs were thought of with treats left for them in the dining room, our breakfast was delicious, the bed was very comfortable, our evening meal was fantastic. Aside from all the practical boxes being ticked, the staff made the experience one of the best I've had. Will definitely be back.
I wish we could have stayed longer!
The bed was comfortable, everything was thoughtfully put together and spick and span.
Both Sue & Hellen were warmly welcoming and my breakfast of waffles and fruit was delicious. I will definitely be coming again.
What an absoloute gem! This place is a must stay. The staff, the pub, the retaurant food, the locals, the accomodation itself, the breakfast, the facilities - literally EVERYTHING was though about. I couldn't find even the slightest thing to complain about - all four of us loved it.
B&B comfortable,well appointed in a beautiful peaceful location,great breakfast .
Food in pub next door delicious
Will definitely be back
Nothing to dislike
Beautiful location and very comfortable with friendly owners, breakfast was tasty and filling. Immaculate room and lounge and gardens m. Great stay will definitely be back 10/10 👍🏼
Nothing, everything was just as I expected. Absolutely no negative feedback
It was all very nice but is actually 18 or so miles away from Morpeth and 20 minutes to get back onto the A697 the following morning. Standard double bed which might not be suitable for two big people.
