Booked to stay here for the F1 as it is a reasonable distance from the track. Property is advertised as having private parking, this is NOT true, parking is a free for all with people parking up curbs, parking on the grass, all of the actual parking is garages which have notes on saying ‘no parking’, kids running wild around all the cars and playing cricket next to them, so good luck not getting your car damaged. So if you have a car do not stay here, next moving on to the room itself, again this is advertised as a room in an apartment, it is actually a block of flats not an apartment, room was unbearable to sleep in due to the heat and obviously no air con, bed was uncomfortable and not big enough for two people, shower had no hot water, light in the bathroom goes off when you first go in so you have to stand in darkness till it comes back on, kitchen had a bin bag full of rubbish laid on the floor that hadn’t been tied, there is cooking facilities though which is a positive. Bedroom had paint coming off the walls, mirror had a massive crack going through it, bed linen must have been reused a million times as it was falling to bits. The only night we were there at about 11:30pm what I can only assume was other guests kept turning the lights on outside our room which illuminated the whole of our room making it impossible to sleep. Complained to booking.com that we had nowhere to park after being at the F1 all day and being up since 5am so we were tired and ready for bed, they refused to help us find somewhere else so had to leave this place and drive an hour away and waste more money just so we had somewhere to sleep for the night. We lasted one night of what was meant to be a 4 day in this place as it was that bad and I’ve stayed at some bad places and still managed to complete the stay. Only positive was the man who checked us in was polite and friendly. Booking.com should remove this listing as it is NOT as advertised and is just robbing people.

The advertisement is very misleading to the point of raising a complaint with Booking.com. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room as advertised and when I raised this with the owner on checking in I was told to use the kettle in the communal kitchen. The advert says there is laminate flooring but this is also false because it's carpeted and I was told on arrival that I need to remove footwear before entering my room and leave them outside the door which is quite frankly outrageous. It's next to a busy road and hospital so is constantly noisy even with the windows closed and one evening police attended an incident in the flat below me and the following day the door to the flat was boarded up so there is clearly an anti-social problem in the building. The intercom buzzer sounded every evening up to 11pm which went unanswered so I didn't feel safe in the property and a urine stain on the toilet seat which was there when I checked in was still there when I checked out a week later which is disgusting service. The shower room had faulty lighting and was filthy. The property is very small and I could hear people using the bathroom at all hours. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about my stay at Zesty Rooms which is more like a HMO but at an exorbitant price. Avoid this accommodation and use a hotel or B&B for more privacy, safety and price. I am reporting this accommodation to Northamptonshire council to confirm if it correctly licenced. £300 for a seven night stay at this property is quite frankly disgraceful. The advert still lists tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms even though this is blatantly not true. The advert suggests there is a work desk but it's in a communal lounge and not the bedroom. The owner should be ashamed of this false advertising.

Everything is beyond expectation

I liked everything

Little things such as, The majority doors were all very stiff and hard to open and close. The trash in the bathroom was not taken out and was full. No hand towel in the bathroom as well. Me and my bf only had one bath towel in our room instead of two upon arrival so we had to share the same towel till we got a new one the next day. When we arrived inside we got a bit confused as every single door was closed and we didn’t know which room was which including our own room. Would have been nicer if either the facility doors (like kitchen, bathroom and living room) were already open or had signs. These are only small things but I think overall we really enjoyed our stay 🙂
