A pleasant refuge in Bathinda.
Pros:

Within walking distance of two main sights of Bathinda - quila mubarak (the fort) & the decommissioned thermal reactors with lake. While south of hotel is pretty grungy, directly behind the hotel (north) the residential area is quite pleasant to walk around.
The sky garden rooftop offers fresh air, a lovely setting & great views. The restaurant up there provides delicious, quality meals. Compliments to the chef! Breakfast was also quite ample. The service provided by staff was good. English levels spoken were passable.

Cons:

Bathinda is not really a destination for foreign tourists. (I was there for a wedding.) Tourist facilities are lacking in hotel. The hotel interior was a little dated, worn and musky smelling. I needed to run the air conditioning in the room to keep the air as fresh as possible.
