Upper Suites KL Sentral

The room was a bare minimum. Everything was kind of there but falling apart at the same time. The water kettles in both rooms were spoilt, the toilet was small and when showering the toilet gets flooded. Both rooms aircon was noisy and sounded like it was breaking apart. The towels weren’t very clean as it had quite a bit of stains and there were few strands of short hair on the bed when I first entered. Most importantly, the wifi was not usable as it was SO SLOW there’s no connection to the internet. Meaning the TV practically doesn’t work too due to no internet so it’s near impossible to watch anything. There was also a long queue for the lift and the lift is stuffy and cramp.

The people working here are really bad and unfriendly, i passed out in the lobby because of DENGUES FEVER and should’ve been taken to the urgencies but no one helped or anything. It’s another tourist who called the ambulance for me. Do better.

Take the comments about the elevators seriously. On multiple occasions I waited 20-30 minutes for the elevator. The regular wait time is at least 10 mins. This “hotel” is actually part of a 53 story apartment complex. It’s not really a hotel, the staff aren’t helpful, the towels are not changed/rooms maintained. The wifi was super slow making it impossible to even send an email without hotspotting from my phone. The marketing makes it look like a comfortable hotel- but it’s actually a cramped and packed apartment experience. The location also isn’t ideal if you’re a tourist and hoping to conveniently see the city.

The lift

1. No fridge in the room and asked for one, not possible
2. Only 2 pillows were provided and very flat soft, when asked for extra, don't provide extra.
3. The elevators were damn slow to wait and one of them was out of service during the stay.

Poor staff behavior and support

No drinks vending machine at the hotel lobby and need to walk to the Bila Bila Mart to get something. The toilet hook is too high if we want to hang our towels. Maybe facilities department can relocate the hook position to the lower level. There are so many switches point but only a few of them are working.
