Great location near restaurants and the winter gardens . Breakfast was well cooked and presented with a wide selection . Stunning view from 3rd floor restaurant
Room size smaller than other, similar priced properties. No parking onsite - short walk (3-4 mins ) to nearest Q-park which was fine in good weather but would’ve been uncomfortable if raining. No ability to drop off outside the hotel as area pedestrian only .

Excellent location-close to the train station and City Hall. Centrally located-plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room was great-comfortable and had all the facilities we needed for a 1 night stay.
It felt more like a hotel for local business people rather than visitors to the city, particularly in the bar area. The breakfast was all self service.

1. Shower temperature was awful during the day (at high demand times). Even with the heating turned to full it was luke warm at best. And then scolding hot in the morning at the same settings.
2. TV stated it allowed casting from phones (for a boxing match). It did not work and unable to sign into apps (Netflix) on the TV
3. The Fan was only at the bottom of the room causing irregular room temp in different areas. Difficult to regulate my 3 month olds temperature
4. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower dispensers
5. Small lifts making it difficult to transport baby pushchair and luggage
6. Requested and approved early check in, but the room with a cot was not available so we had to have one without due to needing to get changed and head to a wedding.

The television didn’t work and reported to reception but was still not resolved.
Great central location. Staff upgraded us to premium room for my husband’s birthday, we got a free drink at the hotel bar and a nice surprise for our arrival to the room. Lovely touches. Very clean.

Good location and nice breakfast.
Roadworks outside and none of the TVs in the hotel were working. We arrived an hour before the 3pm check in time and were told the room was ready but we would have to pay £15 extra if we wanted an early check in.
Good location. Wide range of food for breakfast. Receptionist very helpful on arrival. Nice showers.
Having to constantly use the key card to get access everywhere. Understandable though in name of security. Bathroom perhaps a little small.

The location was great for our intended purpose
We received no prior warning of the road works directly outside the window that was very noisy during normal working hours and from early morning. By the look of the work, it has been going on some time and will be an extended period before completed.
The television did not work as no channels were available and this was a problem throughout the hotel.
The 3 course meal prepaid for in the restaurant was very poor. It was a set type menu and the choices were very poor unless you want a burger or a club sandwich. A waste of money and would definitely have gone elsewhere if hadn’t paid for it already.
How central it was to everything clean great staff just everything was really impressive
The beds was the only issue we had couldn’t get comfy in them and the pillows although they were very soft just didn’t fit with what we were use to.
