Lovely rooms. Don't book the restaurant

Lovely room, very modern and clean

Cons:

We booked half board, we could have eaten out in Sheffield but devided to give the hotel a chance. The food was terrible. We will not return to this hotel for that reason. We complained, and the staff tried to sort the issues out. The hotel needs to either train their chef's or provide better ingredients. We didn't have breakfast the next morning due to the quality of the food the night before.

Pros:

Clean , room v comfortable

Cons:

QR code for room service didn’t work, said it wasn’t available so we didn’t get to eat on arrival as restaurant closed
The back door was closed for taxi drop off in evening and we got soaked walking around the building .

Pros:

Location was brilliant. Easy access to the train station and all the shops, restaurants and pubs in the city centre.

Cons:

The lack of parking makes it really difficult ro get to the hotel when you have a lot of luggage etc.

Staff was helpfull, nice modern hotel, well thought out rooms, good breakfast (kudos to the cook to help me with on-demand eggs à la carte.

Cons:

Trying to fit a new hotel in old building is complex - the amount of fire doors till you get to the room is a labyrinth.
Would really benefit from an in-room coffee machine.

An excellent experience and would highly recommend.
Pros:

The staff are exceptional and are extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was greeted by a welcome gift in my room as a returning guest, and I had a lovely room with a great view. The breakfast in the morning was 10/10, there was so much choice, all very fresh and the breakfast area was lovely and clean and comfortable.

Cons:

There was very little not to like, the only thing I could find a fault in was extremely minor and wouldn't stop me from returning. In the room the coffee machine did not have all the varieties of coffee pods available and the vast majority of the were decaff. Also in the bathroom the body lotion cream dispenser was empty.
