first time staying at raddison blu and was very dissapointed with the experience
Pros:

the hotel is in a great location and the rooms are clean, well decorated and a good size

Cons:

my room had a connecting door to another bedroom and I could hear everything the people in the adjoined room were saying to each other, and everytime they coughed. it was like they were in my room with me. I think its disgraceful that Raddison are renting these two rooms out to individual customers because there's no noise separation between them. I tried to complain and reception were no help. I was told a manager would contact me but they never did.

Ideal hotel for a visit to Sheffield City Centre.
Pros:

A modern , well-appointed and clean hotel right in the centre of Sheffield, ideal for our trip there to go to the Lyceum Theatre. very nice 3rd floor bar which doubled as the breakfast room. Sensibly priced and very good breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Parking ,,,in a nearby Q Park multi-storey, is pretty expensive at the "discounted" rate of £20 a night.

Pros:

Very new and clean, staff made an effort to recognise my birthday by creating a birthday cake towel stack on the bed

Cons:

Roadworks outside but that wasn’t their fault

Overpriced due to World Snooker Championships(?)
Pros:

Impromptu stay - convenience was key. Facilities and room were good.

Cons:

Expensive for what it is, but it was the only hotel available in the city centre that evening due to the snooker being played at The Crucible. Probably paid over the odds given the timing.

Fantastic Stay: Modern, Stylish, and High-End
Pros:

Had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu Sheffield on April 13th. I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and it really made the trip. The room was clean, stylish, and felt brand new—definitely a cut above other hotels I've stayed at in the area. The bathroom was especially impressive with high-quality finishes and a great shower. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, modern stay in the city centre!

Magnificent
Pros:

Loved the hotel. Soundproof which was amazing. Soft close on all doors. Soft closing toilet seats. 'Public' toilets in main hotel superbly clean.

Good but could be better
Pros:

Location, room, shower, breakfast

Cons:

Room I was in was next to door in hallway, which slammed everytime someone went through. I was kept awake all night from other guests going through the door. Hotel needs to add some sort of soft close device to it. Evening meal choice not great - got sweet potato curry served with roast potatoes (why not rice and popadoms). Good choice not great (save for breakfast which is good)

Not worth the money
Pros:

The location of this hotel is convenient if needing a city centre place to stay. Rooms are modern, yet seem to be comfortable.

Cons:

The staff took a while to have my room ready I think this was confusing as booking . Com said all rooms have bath or shower however on arrival they had to make a room up with a bath, then to find out the room didn’t have a bath plug, where maintenance had to sort this, this was a inconvenience as just wanted a room with a bath yet there was no bath plug. The hotel woman who checked me in seemed very confronting to me when I asked about the room with a bath. The hotel was not worth over a 100 pounds a night. I think personally there are better places to stay at a more respectable price
