A lovely quiet place to stay when visiting Yala
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at Yala Chalet.
Room was a good size and bathroom was clean

A great spot to relax and enjoy Yala
Pros:

Staff were fantastic - super helpful and friendly with any request or need attended to. The setting is fantastic too- rooms are big and clean and you really feel like you are staying in the heart of Yala national park!

It's a perfect property to stay for families who want to visit the nearby Yala National Park.
Pros:

We liked the the facilities, especially the pool and the rooms. They were all were very good. The service was superb and the staff was really welcoming and helpful. We had dinner included and we ordered an extra lunch. With each meal the bar was raised and it was the best food we've got in Sri Lanka.

Les employés sont vraiment gentils, ils nous ont même fait un déjeuner pour emporter au safari. Le site est très beau et près du parc national de Yala. Je recommande ☺️

Fine og store rom, super plassering med hytter rundt bassenget. Nydelig mat, og hyggelig og hjelpsomt personell

Pros:

Grosses Zimmer und idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari im Yala-Nationalpark. Das Frühstück war inklusive (das Hotel hat uns eine praktische Lunch-Bag für die Safari vorbereitet).

Cons:

Das Personal ist zwar grundsätzlich sehr freundlich, aber sowohl Check-In als auch Check-Out waren ein riesiges Chaos. Erstens sprachen sie nur wenig/gar kein Englisch und zweitens wussten sie nicht, wie sie uns ein- bzw. auschecken sollten. Am Ende haben sie sich zwar entschuldigt, aber man erwartet solche Abläufe in einem Hotel nicht. Das Zimmer ist zwar gross, jedoch wenig ansprechend eingerichtet und die Betten sind extrem hart.

Exceeded Expectation by all values.
Pros:

The breakfast , Lunch and dinner were fantastic, the chefs got some serious skill as the food was amazing. He did make us some kottu upon request which was also delicious. The Rooms are clean spacious and very comfy. The beds were big with enough space for 4 adults. The whole villa was very calm serene and the pool was clean and we enjoyed using it. Mr.Sinnaiyah the chef and our server whose name was ( myt be wrong) Shanthi were amazing and helped us with everything props to them. Exceeded expectations by a country mile. Would recommend to anyone and would visit again when in yala.

Just my 2 cents - they do have room for improvement. They are almost at the level of something like well rounded resort like Jetwing Yala but they just need a few things like proper toiletry, and a tad more bit attention to detail.. like the surroundings could've been kept nicer n more tidier n cleaner, the dining room could use a few lap napkins when dining and the napkins , serviettes on the table could have be changed for each family so they have no stains.. not that it was unclean by any measure.. its jus the tiniest of things that could make them a 10/10 villa from a 9/10 one.

Great location and dedicated/experienced staff
Pros:

The property was chosen due to proximity to Yala national park. But the stay became very much about the experienced staff, that anticipated our needs for a safari. They went out of their way to prepare a breakfast for us before our 5am safari pick up. Not to mention they prepared a gluten free breakfast for me (which has not been easy in Sri Lanka). The staff were also helpful guides to town, giving advice on dining options, though they were able to host us for any meal too.
The rooms were generously sized and the rooms and grounds had a lot of pride in maintaining cleanliness and care.
I would recommend this property.
