We were informed over a call that our booking was cancelled.
They didnt keep the booking sonce they apparently wrote for me to pay an advance. Whats the point of using booking.com then. You have a standard charge to card a week/10 days before. I am tracking if paid ir not. Now i have to start checking that everytime! I might as well go to travel agent & get my whole itinerary set up. Extremely bad experience sinxe it was very busy in Kaza & worked out difficult to find alternative accommodation. Kaza is a very small town with limited good hotels.
Customer services of Booking.com is practically non existant for other than standard items.
I have inadvertently being using 2 email IDs for bookings over the years. Had finally been able to write to you & was given a number to call. Even the local taxi stand us politer & tells you that you have reached the taxi stand. Just got a hello. I had to ask if this is Booking.com & then was told yes! He sent a ping to get 2 OTPs to identify that i was indeed the owner of both. Finally having passed that hurdle, ge said it would all be merged within 24 hours. Thar was some 3 weeks ago!!!
You wNt to be in the business of cistomer services you need to anticipate customer issues & then have your systems be able to pricess them seamlessly!!!
Your pricess, customer services. The kind of deals you are making with hotels, etc.
- The staff and the food were polite & good.
- Location
- The property has potential if a few things are improved.
- The rooms need to have wardrobes/Cupboards or even just a clothes rack.
- There should be an option for a twin sharing room.
- Too many appliances and few plug points. Possibly provide multipin plugs
- The parking was difficult to maneuver especially on motorcycles. This stones & loose rocks can ideally be packed or removed for easier access
Good location, ample parking space.
A bit pricey for the kind of rooms, very small sized rooms. The staff, some of them were very rude. Infact a small laughing Buddha piece was damaged by our kid of 1 yr age, the staff kept on nagging and insisting for replacement at earliest, although we assured to buy a new piece which was worth 300 nly. May not go again just bcz of the behaviour of staff.
Electrical problem in hotel ,even geyser is not working properly, they provide hot water in bucket
- Welcoming, polite, honest, kind, warm and
friendly: Simply the best hospitality you wish for.
- Clean and spacious rooms.
- Mouthwatering Aloo Parantha, healthy Muesli for breakfast and delicious aloo Zeera is a must have at dinner.
- Walking distance to Taxi stand.
- The restaurant area is quite down to earth and aesthetic at the same time. With a sitting area on the floor and a table, you could chose as per your desire. Amazing books to read from the numerous books out there on the shelves. The view from the window is stunning.
- Electric blankets are icing on the cake for chilly nights.
It's hard to digest but this is an honest review- No issues whatsoever.
Everything is fine, we liked everything
the location and the vibe is just perfect and not to miss the food options and quality
there is nothing to dislike about the property
Ambience
Location
View from Valley Room.
Bathroom equipped, but literally non functioning.
No Electricity, if present with fluctuations
No WiFi
As a result Geysers won't work at Minus 4 degree.
TV was for show only , not working for 3 days.
Electric Kettle won't work because of electricity failure, No tea or coffee can be prepared.
On site Room heating will be provided, but we were threatened that we will be charged Rs 1000 for this per night per Room.
best place to stay in kaza if you’re looking for comfort and peace
Only the location and the food.
Location wise the hotel is good but the mentioned aminities are not provided. At 14K ft. height, in a tent where 2-3 buckets of hot water is provided, one can expect to get a bucket of hot water for a little kid. In this regards, I am very disappointed.
I can understand that Kaza have a power outrage issues but I have talked with the local homestay owners and even there is no power, they provide adequate hot water for washroom and warm water for drinking. But the hotel staff here simply says they can't provide it.
One day, when we were the only guest in the hotel (I assume, others checked out), the hotel told us that they would not run the generator. Once more guests came they started it.
The view from the rooms is spectacular, the stuff are nice ,
No wifi working ,
Need to carry with you lots of cash because they dont accept cerdit card
