Palabaddala Tea and Eco Lodge

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, mitten in der Natur gelegen. Das Zimmer war groß und die Betten gemütlich! Der Blick war richtig toll in die Berge :)
Das absolute Highlight war auf jeden Fall der Naturpool mit einem Blick übers Tal!
Wir haben hier 2 Nächte verbracht und es war der perfekte Startpunkt für die Wanderung zum Adams Peek. Nach 12.000 Stufen aber auch der perfekte Ort um sich danach wieder zu entspannen.

Die 3 Mitarbeiter waren total toll und haben sich gut um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können jedem ans Herz legen diese Unterkunft zu buchen.

The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by trees and the swimming pool was amazing. Rooms were comfortable. Very quiet location and enjoyed listening to birds.

Thank you for the time we spent here with our friends. Swimming in the pool, delicious breakfast and dinner. Clean rooms and beautiful views right from the bed. Great staff who took care of us with love. We also visited the Buddha temple and a beautiful waterfall with ancistrus fish that nibbled on us while we were swimming, it was an experience. Thank you. God is infinitely loving.

Beautiful nature, run with care

We came here for Adams Peak and we were not disappointed. The staff here was SO attentive every step of the way. Asanka even dropped and picked us up from the start of Adams Peak trail. The food was delicious. We also did a Gem Tour to a traditional mine and the Ratnapura Gem market which was a completely new and interesting experience. There is a natural pool and streams to play in too. My son loved it here!

de accommodatie was erg mooi, midden in de natuur met uitzicht op Adams Peak. Weg van alle drukte uit de steden.

Realy nice lodge with natural pool, river-pool and a giant terrace for eating and activities.
The Gem-tour with shanuka is awesome, he is knowledged and fulfils every wish.

It's 40min away from the main road inside of the forest. Nice Environment and beautiful atmosphere.

We loved the location - expect a 40min to 1 hour drive from Ratnapura. The location gives you the views, the quiet, the jungle & tea plantations in one.
Fresh water swimming pool, river swim on your door step. Trip to a waterfall that we had all to ourselves. The little tiny village is surprisingly active when it's pilgrimage time up to Adams Peak. The hotel is also a fabulous location for walks/ hikes.

Un espace isolé idéal pour se reposer dans la nature. L’hôte était adorable et très serviable. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable.
Nous avons pris ce logement afin de monter le pic Adam. Il est idéalement situé pour débuter le sentier.
Je recommande à quiconque qui souhaite monter cette montagne où passer un moment détente dans la nature de réserver ce logement !

The staff was so friendly and accomodating that it felt like staying at a friends place. We got a tour of all of their garden and got their help to visit 2 waterfalls! (The one right next to the lodge and the one 4 kilometers away). The food was also very tasty and served in large portions, so a big thank you to the kitchen staff aswel!

Aside from the lodge we also took on the challenge of trying to reach Adams peak. We unfortunately didn't make it all the way (this side of the mountain has 11.000 steps), but we enjoyed the entire experience. Amazing views, some wild animals and we were completely alone the entire day due to it being off season. We would definitely recommend anyone to try to do Sri Pada off season.
