Pool closes a little early.

I’m not sure why this place rates so high.
It’s overpriced, isolated and misrepresented.
Misrepresentation as a health and relaxation retreat.
Our room was hot, adjacent to the commercial kitchen and we had electric blenders starting at 6.50am going until 10pm at night with pots and pans crashing. Listening to the staff music, deliveries and diners.
We were directly under the pool and had people divebombing which echoed into the non insulated cabin. The hot water didn’t work, the bed was as hard as a rock.
Our neighbouring cabin had no privacy screen dividing our balcony and we heard them walking around and talking all night.
Our request for a refund of the remainder of the booking was refused and we were offered a complimentary massage ( which they made us do out in the open topless right next to other guests swimming in the pool)
The clincher was getting shit on by geckos up in the ceiling as we slept. We had to shower and sleep with our heads covered to avoid the geckos shitting on us.

The hotel is truly a paradise on Earth, completely immersed in the Ubud jungle.
The hotel is away from the chaos of Ubud centre, yet still very close and easy to reach.
Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a breathtaking view over the jungle and the swimming pool.
We enjoyed wonderful massages and experienced two full-day tours, and everything was absolutely perfect.
The staff were amazing: everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. We had an unforgettable stay and would love to come back!
Breakfast could be a little more varied, however everything we tried was very good
The view is amazing with a Lovely staff, it's very calm and it's the ideal spot to relax and enjoy a calm holiday.

Het personeel van dit hotel was geweldig! Bij aankomst kregen we een heerlijk welkomstdrankje en een Balinees welkom. De kamer werd meerdere keren per dag schoongemaakt. Reparatie aan de douchekop werd direct uitgevoerd na het melden hiervan. De massages van het hotel waren heerlijk en het ontbijt was top. Leuk klein infinity zwembad en goed onderhouden jacuzzi. Prachtige locatie aan de rivier. De kamer was (zeer) ruim.
Rioolvliegjes in de badkamer. De locatie ligt hemelsbreed niet ver van het centrum, maar door de rivier toch nog minimaal 15 minuten met de bike.
Everything! The staff were absolutely amazing, always greeted us when arriving and going, everything was clean, woke up to monkeys in the morning. We stayed in the jungle villa. Beautiful place. Our favourite place we visited in Bali. Thank you for making it so special.
Nothing! Loved everything! Absolutely nothing bad to say at all!! We even lost the key by accident and the staff didn't complain. They helped us get in!
