a little paradise
Pros:

The hotel is unique. The resort is located a little outside of Diani Beach. We spent three wonderful days on the beach. The food was exceptional. I have never experienced such friendly service! I hope we can come back soon

all details where there from flowers on tables to linen napkins

Pros:

Rooms were beautiful and clean
The pool bar excellent
Staff were helpful and friendly
Location was great
During dinner the waiters explained in detail the menu of the day which was great

Cons:

The downside was there was no daily entertainment - we would have liked a DJ playing music after dinner that we could dance to instead of going back to our rooms after dinner

Breakfast area is too hot, there were a lot of flies and most of the food was not covered on the first 3 days we were there. One of my friends had un upset stomach & diarhoea for 2 days - not great

Complexe correct.pour un court séjour.
Pros:

La décoration intérieure, les repas, les restaurants différents du midi et du soir, la chambre correcte.
Complexe et espaces verts bien entretenu.
Les efforts du personnel ne peuvent pas compenser les points négatifs ci dessous.

Cons:

Loin du centre ville inaccessible à pied, le manque d'animation, établissement peu festif. La plage sans attrait pour la baignade du fait des algues présentes à marée basse et sable vaseux

Brilliant week of relaxing after safari holiday.
Pros:

Everything was wonderful. We particularly liked the Mongolian food night. Not Mongolian at all, but help yourself to various meat, fish and veg. Then stir fried for you and finished with rice or pasta with appropriate sauces.

Cons:

The only negative was the quality of the house wine.
The hotel is beyond the end of the tarmac road, and as we drove up on a safari road, we wondered what we had booked! But it was fabulous once we arrived.

Unfair ratings and price, luck of water, electricity and safety.
Cons:

Mzima Beach was our first out of three hotels in Kenya. Compacting to others it is not a 5* hotel as mentioned in booking.com. This is such a guest house without proper kitchen, luck of water or electricity.
The house is overpriced and has unfair ratings, which I honestly think is corrupting by management according to the situation which happened to me in this guest house.

One of the cleaners Omar Kai or Elizabeth Kiaka is stole my headphones from the bad while cleaning the room. My husband was inside the house, and they just took it while setting up the bad. Headphones were connected to my phone and I could see how they moved from the Mzima Beach and were moving around the city the whole day. When I asked GM Stephen to make an action, he was unhelpful. They took screenshots from my phone and just made me he conclusion report about the action. My statement about complaint to booking.com did not work as GM said he knows the owner and he will do nothing to a stuff as they are working long time in the house. I honestly felt unsafe in this guest house.

I would kindly ask booking.com check properly the hotels they are promoting, because this one is absolutely unfair in ratings and prices.


P.S. There is near by Pinewood hotel, which in reality better in price and services, Al bough has only 4* on booking.com

A great location even though that little bit further from the airport. Fantastic staff and very tasty fresh food.
Pros:

Very quiet, and the balcony area was excellent. Room was spacious and good air condition.

Nothing really, but it would’ve been good to have a TV

Pros:

Gute Lage mit eigenem Strand. Essenwiird größtenteils am Strand aufgebaut.

Cons:

Das Wasser ist jetzt im Januar mit viel Seetang etc. voll, ebenso der Strand. Bei Ebbe sind sehr viele Steine im Wasser, so wartet man am besten auf die Flut, die kam aber erst Mittags gegen 15 Uhr.. Der Poll könnte öfter gereinigt werden.
