Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage, wunderschöne Pflanzen und Tierbeobachtungen möglich. Tischtennis und Dart sind kostenlos vorhanden. Ich liebte, dass es nachmittags für alle Gäste kostenlos Kaffee und Kuchen am Pool gab. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet und die Mitarbeiter auch sehr zu vorkommend.

Cons:

Der Hotelstrand mit Liegen ist sehr weit vom Wasser entfernt. Man kann das Meer von den Liegen aus auch gar nicht sehen, da ein Sandhügel dazwischen liegt. Der sollte abgetragen werden. Ich liege nicht gerne am Strand, wenn ich das Meer nicht einmal sehen kann. Das Meer ist aufgrund des vorgelagerten Riffs und dem tonnenweisen Seegras auch eher weniger zum Schwimmen geeignet. Spazieren am Strand macht aufgrund der aufdringlichen Beach Boys auch wenig Spaß, aber das ist wohl am ganzen Diani Beach so.

Good hotel with a very friendly staff.
Pros:

Beautifully maintained grounds (the gardeners were working almost all the time), very friendly staff, and delicious lunches, close to the beach.

Cons:

The breakfasts and dinners were repetitive, and the hotel was a bit too expensive. The hotel could use a little renovation and refreshing.

Pros:

Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub in diesem Hotel! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Lage ist direkt am Strand und es gibt kleine Stände, wo man etwas kaufen könnte. Die Zimmerausstattung ist komplett. Schöne Bilder, großer Balkon, Blick auf die Palmen.

Cons:

Es kamen wenige Beach-Boy zum Strand und wollten etwas verkaufen oder betteln, aber das Hotel hat versucht sie schnell wegzubegleiten. Ein ruhiger Strandspaziergang ist nur selten möglich.

Loved every second, and will come back again and again.
Pros:

Everything! The staff are wonderful, welcoming, caring and very helpful! The property itself is gorgeous, has all the amenities you can you would want from a five star facility / holiday, including a gorgeous pool, beach access, a gym and a spa. The food is always excellent and varies from day to day so you never get bored of it. My wife and I stayed for the second leg of our honeymoon and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect and way more than expected. Location is great, room spacious enough, balcony with beautiful garden view. Staff is very kind and helpful, the food is excellent! Highly recommend!

Flott sted med fine fasiliteter. God mat og hyggelig personale. Nyoppussede og stilfulle rom med god plass. Svært få andre turister (midten av april) bidro også til at oppholdet var særdeles behagelig.

Perfekter Urlaub
Pros:

Das Pinewood ist vermutlich eins der schönsten Resorts rund um den Diani- und Galu Beach.
Wir waren zum wiederholten mal dort und fühlten uns erneut äußerst wohl.
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut geplant, die AC bläst nicht aufs Bett.
Das Personal ist überwiegend sehr freundlich.
Der Garten ist wunderbar gepflegt.

Cons:

Das Abräumen beim Essen hätte etwas weniger stressfrei ausfallen können.
