Pros:

The hotel is super creative and very clean! They supply shampoo etc and plenty of towels which was nice. The rooms are incredibly decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful but my big complaint is that the spas at both hotels were booked or out of order the whole weekend. It didnt seem very busy to be booked the entire time maybe they are just under staffed. Luckily the young receptionist was able to squeeze us in a 1 hour time slot but the rest of the weekend we were out of luck. Not much to do close by at this time of the year.

One of our favorite hotels
Pros:

This unique hotel is such a gem. The attention to detail and amenities are suberb. We stayed in the fabulous firkin and loved the soaking tub. Previously we stayed in the final frontier and genies bottle suites, both were so fun. Also love the free steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. We're already planning our next stay.

Enjoyed our stay…Unique rooms .. but staff needs a little training in computer checkin. Also website should clearly state you need to make rez for steam room and sauna .. was unable to use steam room because it was booked

Pros:

Everything was wonderful except the over night temperature of room was stifling hot. We don’t know if there was a way to turn that down. Even after fireplace had been off for several hours it was terrible I ended up opening windows around 2am and that helped a bit. That is only complaint—and maybe it was just our lack of knowing if there was a thermostat. Otherwise it was amazing

Pros:

Stayed at "Cinderella's Gown" cottage, very fairytale with detailed decors throughout. Love the pumpkin bathroom especially. I enjoyed the stay and will try a different theme next time.

Pros:

Very unique cottages, hot tub and sauna, and nice short trails near the waterfall. Convenient to Plattekill and Belleayre ski areas. We'll be going back!

Amazing adventure!
Pros:

The Roxbury is an amazing experience! We were greeted by Robin who was super friendly and attended to our every need. The room was immaculate, individually themed and just the right size for 2 people.

I would give this place an A+++!

Pros:

The manaion and the Cottages are magical. The decor is out of this world and transports you to another time. No detail is spared. The staff is super friendly. This place is pretry remote there aren't many options close to dine or shop but if quiet is what you're looking for this place is it.

The hotel is known for its style and it didn’t disappoint, however upon entering our suite the white carpet was littered with stains and the walk-in shower had scum around the bottom edge. While the two front desk attendants were helpful they were attired in house dresses which contradicted the upscale theme.

Pros:

We stayed at the Mansion, in the Ghost and Mrs Hicks room. It was very clean and the decor is beautiful. We love walking by the waterfall it is amazing. The Roxbury is a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet.

Pros:

This was the most amazing stay we have had. The owners of this hotel have every detail covered. It is ckean, new and eclectic. The rooms are themed and you feel like you walked into anothwr world...somewhat Alice in wonderlandish! Beautiful!
