1) The booking and usage of the room are restricted for the booked guest(s). Guests cannot invite or have visitors to the property. Having visitors is strictly forbidden.
2) This booking is for a double room and private bathroom facility. This doesn't include access to any kitchen and dining area and there will be no provision of tableware and cookware part of your stay. There are no cooking facilities or fridge/freezer for the guests during their stay.
3) Guests are expected to make their own arrangements for their daily meals to be served and have outside of the property. There are coffee shops, pubs, and restaurants near the property which guests can use to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No takeaway food can be taken to the room so, please don't use the property's address to apps like Delivero or Ubereat to order takeaways. If guests wish to order takeaways, this must be discussed in advance and if possible, the host can organize a time for guests to have their meals in common dining at a set time (charges may apply).
4) The host can provide continental breakfast for guests to their room at the guest's request (extra charges will apply).
5) A surcharge of £20 applies for late arrivals and check-in after 10:30 pm. All requests for late arrival should be submitted to the property in advance and subject to confirmation.
6) Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee in every room. Add a continental breakfast for £10 or a full English for £15 per person, per day.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Bathroom is always warm ,it’s close to the bus stop if you don’t want to take a uber
There is no tv in the room the stair are dangerous when I was walking down I slip because the rug is a little to smooth luckily I didn’t hurt my back that god , the lady showed me a closet to use so her personal stuff is in one and the other closet to use for two grown adults that paid , u can rent a room with personal stuff stored inside we are not thieves but we paid for that storage space to it should have been freed to us . No kettle in the room to warm water to make tea but she placed cups and hot chocolate mix packs there mix a floss for us on arrival to last for 3 days , when my Miss showed up she said to me she feels unwelcome I said I also , because of how I was interrogated on my arrival, if she doesn’t want someone there when she sees them on arrival it is simple do a full refund and make life easy

It a bit more expensive than i usually pay but - it was Christmas! The landlady lives on the premises and can give guidance to visitors to London.
Good location in Streatham and not far from shops. Continental breakfast was available at the property for £10 or cooked for £15 although I brought my own porridge pots.
After booking I received a text from Lu saying that if I arrive after 9.30pm then have to pay £20 fine. Lu would ask what time you would arrive back in the evening so I didn’t feel very relaxed. The room was very cold and only a thin single duvet on the double bed which I folded in two. Luckily I had my own hot water bottle.
We liked the attentive nature of the owner. The room was beautiful and warm and welcoming.
The bathroom facilities were excellent. I'd recommend other to use this location.

We had lots of information prior to our arrival which made our checking in very easy. We ate locally in the evening at the lovely Italian a few hundred yards away as recommended by our host. It was a very hot day and the iced water in our room was very welcomed. Would recommend the optional breakfast which was freshly cooked for us. The host was most accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
Street parking is not a problem but car needs to be in the right direction for leaving in the morning as the road becomes a one way for supporting the primary school arrivals which is just opposite the property.

Such a kind host, you feel really welcome there and taken care of. She really wants you to feel good and comfortable, gives you London tips and even fruit for breakfast! I didn’t expect the amenities in my room and in my bathroom too and so that was another positive surprise for me. Highly recommend as the price is really good for the value! You can also get to the London city center in like 20 minutes by train!

I stayed in this room in London for 4 Nights as a solo travelling female.
The room is exactly as on the pictures. It was very clean and quiet. The bathroom isnt in the Same Room but its right next door and you have it all to yourself.
The host, who is a very friendly Lady, lives in the Same House in which the room is in. Overall i had a very pleasant stay.
You get to Chat very nicely with the host whenever you come Home and she is there at the time aswell. She Kindly asked if i wanted some fruit or tea or coffee, which was very nice. You also get a bottle if Water in your room.
You can easy go by Train to London Victoria (20min) or explore the area.
I Highly recommend This room for female solo travellers or if you are on a Trip with a friend :). You feel very Safe in the house.
There Are some reasonable rules which are very understandable (for example to take your Shoes off when you enter the house) and should be respected as you live in someone elses home.

The place is close to a raiway station, thus the city centre can be reched in less than 30 minutes

Although the room has a private bathroom, it is not directly connected to the room and the corridor is shared with the host's family

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean
It's a no shoe area. Having to leave my shoes at the entrance was kind of rude (norms)
The host offered to give me a lift from the station as she was nearby which was definately not expected. Fruit and Water was offered which was appreciated as it was very hot during my stay. Room and bathroom were both clean and well kept. There was a desk which came in useful for my laptop.
House alarms are set at around 10:30 (host offered to delay this for a bit if required), which while this didn't really affect my stay at the time, I could see this affecting some who would like somewhere to stay after being out late and this isn't mentioned on the booking details.
Room was clean, spacious and modern. There was a lot of storage space. The private bedroom was as described. Facilities were good and included shampoo, bodywash, hairdryer. Host kindly offered fruit and bottled water throughout and was knowledgeable about the local area.
