Good Stay
Pros:

The location, staff, the facilities, good refrigerator which cools drinks nicely

Cons:

Even though hotel newly opened wear and tear was clearly visible, finishing was satisfactory at best some challenges with water temperature for shower, but overall a comfortable and good stay

Great hotel at a great price but think twice if you like to sleep early.
Pros:

Impeccable service from super polite efficient staff. The staff were an absolute credit to the establishment.
Rooms were large and cleaned everyday without fail.
Restaurant food was very nice
Efficient thorough security
Plenty parking
Great facilities
Perfect location for restaurants, beaches and shops
Contemporary stylish finish
Comfortable bed but pillows a little flat
Excellent smart TV with easy to use apps including Netflix and YouTube
Beautiful views across to Banana island
Solid working air con unit
No family rooms but rooms provided next door to each other

Cons:

Loud thumping music at all times of the day. On one day it started at 9:30am and ended at 12:30am the next morning. We were on the third floor so bass was thumping through the pillow. Outsiders allowed to visit the hotel bar (called Somewhere on Earth) so its party central all evening which is cool until you as a paying staying guest want to sleep before midnight.

Pool was not cleaned regularly enough. Once per day is not enough it an environment this hot with this many bugs. Pool consistently filled with dead bugs and was consistently dirty.

Bathroom water facilities were inconsistent and it took a while to get it stable but once you got it it remained stable so not so bad but to turn on and use at any time of the day or night was not great.

Breakfast options were few and far between and on 3 days of our stay there was no buffet at all but we were offered to order from the A La Carte menu. Despite ordering on 3 different occasions we were unable to get fresh fruit though it was stated in the menu.

Unprofessional hotel
Pros:

Didn’t stay at the hotel as my booking which they accepted online didn’t exist when I got there

I would not recommend staying at this hotel as an American because you will be frustrated everyday
Pros:

I loved the location. Just minutes away from my usual spots.

Cons:

I didn’t like the staff. Training should be implemented immediately. Checking in and out of a hotel should not be complicated.

I didn’t like how no one knew how to do math or read a reservation. Too many unnecessary assumptions by different staff members.

The lack of communication in this facility is absurd. There is no sense of urgency to fix anything broken.

Everyday the price changes Because of dollar. Which is stupid. If I post upfront no one should talk to me about rate changes days later. Don’t lecture me about dollar rate. I’M IN NIGERIA GIVE ME THE PRICE IN NAIRA!!! what’s the point of giving me dollar rate if you don’t accept dollars?

If I leave my room with a suitcase that does not mean I am checking out. Check your system before harassing your guest.

Marriott hotels accept all major credit cards this hotel does not. I do not like doing transfer but I guess this is the norm in Nigeria.

I did not like the breakfast.

I did not like the Internet service provided.

I did not like how the hot water is inconsistent and they seem to be working on hot water everyday

Please do not any sort of laundry because the system for laundry and ironing services they have in place is inconsistent. BRING YOUR OWN IRON if you must stay here.

I didn’t like that my door was broken and did not close properly and the card reader didn’t work.
