Experiencia nefasta
Pros:

No pudimos usarla porque llovía, pero la piscina parecía estar bien.

Cons:

Las habitaciones tenían humedad. Las sábanas estaban sucias. Y lo peor de todo: el señor que llevaba el hotel nos estafó dos veces. La primera fue cuando le pedimos un tuktuk para ir a un bar de la zona y nos dijo que el precio normal serían 2000 rupias. El bar estaba a 4km. Fallo nuestro no pensarlo y fiarnos de él. Pagamos esas 2000 rupias y, cuando queríamos volver y hablamos con otro tuktuk para hacer el mismo camino de vuelta al hotel nos dijo que 500 estaba superbien. El dueño del hotel había acordado con un amigo suyo cobrarnos 2000 para quedarse él 1000. ¿Y cómo lo sé? Porque cuando pagué en el check out no tenía cambio y el único billete que él tenía a mano era de 1000, un billete idéntico al que yo había dado al tuktuk la noche anterior.

La segunda vez que nos estafó también fue fallo nuestro por no preguntar. Nos hizo la cena, un rice and curry que estaba bastante bueno. No preguntamos precio. Ya lo habíamos hecho en otros hoteles y oscilaba entre 1200-1500 rupias por persona. En el check out vimos que nos cobró 2300 por persona.

No es un buen sitio, seguro que debe haber alguno mejor, aunque la zona es la que es. Pero bueno, si encima el dueño intenta sacarte el dinero por cualquier cosa de una manera inflada... Mejor buscar alternativas.

I wish we could stay here forever.
Pros:

The staff are really amazing, they pay attention to detail. They made us feel like royalty. They really went out of their way to make us completely comfortable at every opportunity. The food is really authentic and everything tastes good, even for my 3 children who are not really used to Sri Lanka food. The manager took us on a safari himself, and one of the staff took us for a walk in the forest around the property to show us tree plantations, sugar and coconut plantations. He even introduced us to his family.

Overall, this is a nice accommodation with a great host that I can certainly recommend to other guests.
Pros:

The accommodation is located near the entrance to Udawalave National Park. The surroundings were beautiful, the staff incredibly service minded.

Cons:

There is nothing negative to say about the accommodation. I can really recommend it to other guests.
