Pequeno Almoço

Cons:

Localização em local degradado. Não fizeram a limpeza do quarto nem trocaram as toalhas.

Pros:

Nice placement close to the city Ella. Only a short tuk tuk ride to get back and forth from the city.

Cons:

Great breakfast included in the booking. Nice staff willing to help with tuk tuk, laundry and refresh of room. Great view of the mountains.

Great staff, clean and spacious hotel rooms. Decent value.
Pros:

The staff at the hotel are really what makes this a good find. They were attentive to my every request and went above and beyond what I expected. The breakfast comes with huge portions, with additional food available on request, and the staff were always available with a smile on their face. The hotel also recommended an excellent Tuk Tuk driver, Amal, who was super reliable and reasonably priced transporting me around Ella during my stay.

Cons:

The WiFi is spotty and can be slow at times. Also, not necessarily something I didn’t like, just a disclaimer: The location is beautiful and tranquil, but not close enough to Ella to walk. Therefore the Tuk Tuk contact was a must. Fortunately he was awesome and always on time so this wasn’t a big issue for me.

Zeer gastvrij, prachtig uitzicht en mooie schone kamers.
Pros:

Wij waren hier vorig jaar voor onze eerste rondreis en omdat het erg goed was, zijn we hier dit jaar terug gekomen tijdens onze tweede rondreis.

De eigenaar en de medewerkers zijn ontzettend gastvrij. Het eten is er heerlijk en tijdens het ontbijt heb je prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Wij willen juist niet in de drukke hoofdstraat zitten en vanaf hier ben je heel snel met een tuctuc in de gezellige drukke straat met winkeltjes en restaurantjes. In de omgeving is erg veel te doen van watervallen, grottempels en ziplines tot een mooi blauw water in een grot.

De kamers zijn erg mooi, schoon, goed onderhouden en ruim. Ze zijn ook voorzien van koffie- en thee faciliteiten en een koelkastje.

Mocht je in Ella willen verblijven, dan is deze accomodatie zeker een aanrader.

We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Just needs a few minor hospitality things attended to.
Pros:

The view was really fabulous but the location was a bit tricky for our driver as the road is not very well signed and almost a dirt track. However, it was still fairly convenient going into the centre of Ella. Breakfast was good except everything was served in reverse order to what Westerners are used to, so we had eggs and toast first instead of fruit juice first, then eggs/toast!. The rooms were clean and comfortable, well equipped and spacious.

Cons:

We couldn't get our TV working and in the end we solved the problem as it was a poor/connection to the set top box not a pay tv/subscription issue (the default problem solving for everything is go to their mobile devices, they needed to come up to the room and check). Staff were helpful but limited English made communication difficult (also the 3 young men entrusted to Front of House were constantly/instantly on their devices, rather than concentrating on the customers). Also, for anyone with limited mobility their appeared to be no public lift and all the guest rooms are a few floors up from ground level.

Het is best wel wat verderaf van het centrum van Ella. Er was toch wat onbeholpenheid of n gebrek aan ervaring bij het personeel. Voor n gezin van 4 werd 1rol toiletpapier voorzien voor twee dagen. Bij het ontbijt kregen andere gasten elk n flesje water en n sapje bovenop wat wij kregen. Prijskwaliteit toch eerder duur in vergelijking met andere adressen in Sti Lanka waar we logeerden.
