Very nice and cozy
Pros:

Staff are literally mom and pop

Cons:

The place is very very clean and well taken care of. I love my stay. Only a few points to improve:
Key card had to be reactivated daily.
Towels need to be checked before giving to guest. They gladly switched them out for me but it was unpleasant to see bad towels with makeup and plastic stcked to it after the dryer. Maybe provide guests with black wash cloth for makeup removal. I brought my own.
Room doesn't need to be made daily. I asked to not have room service not because I don't trust the cleaner. I wanted to reuse the towels, keep 1 trash bag for the whole stay, and save them cleaning time. It was made regardless of my request to the owner and the cleaner.

Bring Your Own Water
Pros:

Would have rated 10 for the stay, but there was no bottled water offered in drink vending machine. Gentleman at the front desk politely advised to walk to the other motel, where I got 1 out of 2 bottles of water I paid for from their vending machine.

Cons:

Didn't like that vendor doesn't stock water as an option In vending machine.

Quiet and comfy.
Pros:

I liked it was close and in walking distance to our event and was quiet, comfortable, and clean.

Cons:

It would have been nice if a continental breakfast was included.

Pros:

Great price and great stay. Clean and spacious room, wonderful bed, closet for hanging clothes, updated bathroom and tile shower. An oasis feeling in dense population area.

You get what you pay for.
Pros:

The owners were kind of rude to me when I was checking in. They themselves did not have access to my booking on hotels.com. They had a heavy accent, so I needed them to repeat things, and they would raise their voice continuously. Once I got my card I was walking ou,t and instead of telling me to enjoy my stay, one of the owners yelled at me, "NO SMOKING," even though I had 0 plans to smoke, maybe it was just because I look a little younger, still feel like it was really weird of them to do that though. Showed me the wifi password which ended up being wrong and I had to play a guessing game. The following day I came back to my room and someone had come in and cleaned even though I did NOT ask for that. It made me feel pretty weird as I was not told this would happen. Honestly, avoid this place; spend the extra couple of dollars to stay somewhere nicer.
