It was the dirtiest place ever. There were flies everywhere and half eaten food in the kitchen

When you call the number and ask for advice on exact location and clock in details he does not reply. 16 times i rang within 48 hours before to the location and no reply. Very confused as i am always good with booking.com and airbnb so this is a first. Booking.com called him while i was on hold to them and they replied to them while i was on hold. I tried calling after, 3 separate times, and i got no reply again. Yet to my surprise, they declined my request for refund, not directly to me but to booking.com as they will not contact me.
The room was in a really poor state, lots of things broken including, the heater didn't work maybe because the plug was falling apart, there were holes in the wall stuffed with tissues, the switch from the bathroom was coming out the wall, the WiFi didn't work and when I message on Whatsapp to ask for assistance noone ever replied to me. It was a good location and pretty cheap but that's all that was good about it, wont be staying again.

When I got there the door didn't even lock to the apartment so anyone could just walk into the house at any time. I then got to the room and the bed and towel smelt like onions, there was no toilet roll in the toilet and multiple holes in the walls. I genuinely felt like I was in a homeless shelter this is absolutely disgusting!!! DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

Property is unlike the photos, no quiet hours implemented and I had been forced awake by residents till 3 am. Terrible when you have to wake up at 5 AM. Bathroom door and front door do not work properly and have to shake the door to open - this caused me to cut myself. Bathroom always has urine stains or fecal matter on the seats - this is not pleasant. Bedroom sheets are excessively worn and the owner does not reply if a concern is brought up, only talking to booking.com will get you a response.
Overall, I think getting a hostel may have done me better for sleep. This was so terrible and it isn’t a one of thing, the reviews seem to make it look like this has constantly happened for months but both booking.con and the owner do not care.

Good location - very central. The lock box was easy enough for checking in and checking out. The information for getting the keys was detailed enough.
The door into the flat was loose with screws hanging out so we couldn't get into the flat initially, I tried to phone the number I had been provided for help twice and I got no response. I then messaged through booking.com whilst my partner used the key to screw the screws back into the door handle and we eventually got in but I still didn't hear anything back from the host. I didn't feel completely safe in the area and I wouldn't have stayed there if I were by myself, as I was nervous about any issues trying to get back into the flat later in the night. The whole flat seems quite rundown and dingy. Felt like I was back in a uni house especially with how well you could hear everyone else in their rooms. Described as a large room I had expected a bit more space. Finally it was difficult to check out by the time given as everyone was trying to use the 1 bathroom for showers etc leading up to check out.

Smelled of weed not clean dangerous electrics broken doors not secure at all rowedy people downstairs in flat A who were playing loud music through out the night like they owned the place with no care for anyone else on the upper floors and been woken up at 8am to shouting and music
It was close to town, which was great with such bad weather. Bedding was soft, even if there was other people’s hair on it.
It was absolutely filthy. We didn’t know the bathroom was shared, nor the kitchen. There was no hot water from the bathroom tap, no mirror in the bedroom. Someone’s toenail was on the floor, and only 1 pillow per person with no extras. Towel had a stain on it, floor obviously hadn’t been hoovered, the walls were filthy. One of the drawer handles was broken. No one had cleaned that place properly in a while.
