Excellent food, excellent staff and overall comfortable
Pros:

Comfortable, carefully designed to make the most of the building. I would like to say that the plant based menu was extremely good, so nice to have dishes I would not make at home.

Cons:

I found my room stuffy as I prefer fresh air into my room at night and opening up the secondary glazing was tricky.

Pros:

Location was excellent for walks in different directions. Room was comfortable and clean. Traditional decoration throughout the hotel.

Cons:

The food was very "high brow" but that is a personal preference. Access to the car park was a trek, especially when the weather was inclement. Would have been better to have a back door to the hotel.

Pros:

We liked the walk in the garden, the breakfast was excellent, service excellent too. Thankyou to the French lady who spoke french to my partner. Nice atmosphere in the bar, food tasty and stylish. Lovely countryside all around.

Great location in Derbyshire. Friendly welcome. Very comfortable room. Bathroom could have been bigger. Good toiletries. Cosy public areas. Good bar. Excellent bed, linen, pillows. Excellent dinner. Excellent breakfast.

Nothing whatsoever to dislike.

I like the place use it quite a bit when I am on business in the area.
Cons:

Didn't like my bathroom very small and burnt my bottom on the bathroom radiator.
I hate showers over baths very old fashioned rip out bath put in a walk in shower.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful food
Pros:

The food was exceptional, the room beautiful and comfortable, and the hotel lovely.

The bath took a long time to run as the tap was so slow
